saihara from beginning was always introverted and confused about himself. in other words he didn't like people that much. they annoyed him and he felt like he annoyed them too. even if they said otherwise. so he decided to take his friends advice, to try to make friends online kaede helped him make an account and look around for people.
S - Hello..?
O - Heyyoo!!
S - Hello.. nice to meet you
O - Hi Hii!!!
S - Yeah.. hi..
O - why're you online? is it because you actually have no friends..??!
S - i have friends;;
for once ouma was finally interested in talking to someone. saihara always kept his feelings to himself.
ouma and saihara talked all night about different things and ouma teasing saihara a lot.
O - so what school do you go to..?
saihara was sleepy but to the sound of the phone beep made saihara rub his eyes open while he slowly stretched. he grabbed his phone and put in his password going to messages and reading the message the other boy sent
S - Um.. well.. i don't know.. if i should say..
ouma was kicking his feet on the bed and staring at the messages of him and saihara. he was happy, but ouma got very clingy very quickly
O - pleaaaasssee! saihara-chaaann..!
shuichi looked at the nickname the liar called him and slightly blushed pushing his face into his pillow and lightly letting go of his phone, almost like he was fanboying.
Shuichi looked at his alarm clock and his eyes widened, he flicked and grabbed his phone
S - I- I'm late for school bye!
Saihara got up from his bed, slightly slipping
running down stairs
he was already dressed and was putting his jacket on, hopping slightly to get his shoes on.
after he got his shoes and jacket on he grabbed a piece of toast and ran out the door as he heard a ring on his phone.
he knew it was kokichi so he ignored it and kept running to school. he was never late. st least he thought so
he arrived at the gates of the school huffing and breathing heavily when he met kaede at the shoe lockers
"Hey! Saihara-kun!"
Saihara was surprised a bit and looked to his left to see his friend kaede and beside her was rantarou.
"h-hey akamatsu-san.." shuichi took his shoes off and changed to his school shoes and so did kaede. rantarou's shoes were already changed 'he must've gotten here early.' shuichi thought "w-well um, how are you?" Kaede turned her head from rantarou's body to look at shuichi "i'm alright~!" kaede smiled 'her normal pretty smile..' shuichi blushed and looked down slowly lifting his left arm to pull his hat down yet before he was able to rantarou pulled the hat off "A-Ah! Amami-kun!!" shuichi looked up quickly and tried to grab the hat from rantarou's lifted arm to the air "Nope." rantarou smiled and wiped his hand to behind his back "agh..." shuichi slouched slightly and sighed "oh well." the detective smiled and scratched his head "Ah-! Saihara-kun! have you met anyone or talked to anyone recently on the app that i got you in?" Akamatsu Announced "oh.. yeah i met one person." shuichi placed his finger on his chin and started to walk to his class "Really!?-" akamatsu was cut off my rantarou "you what Akamatsu??" Akamatsu looked back at rantarou "oh. i set him up on an app so he can make new friends.." kaede jumped up and down smiling brightly to rantaro "o-oh.." rantaro blushed to kaede's smile 'she's so pretty.."
"so saihara-kun! what's their name?!"
kaede was distracted and got back on track to what they were talking about before
"oh yeah their name is Kokichi Ouma.." kaede's eyes widened "K-Kokichi..?" she dropped her bag and bit her lip 'why..him..'
"y-you alright a-akamatsu..?" shuichi bent down to grab kaede's bag and looked up at kaede's face to look for an expression or to even see if she was crying "o-oh!" kaede lifted her head up "yeah!, ahah.." kaede scratched her head
The bell rang.
"oh. time for class, i have to go" rantaro lifted his bag to behind his shoulder "bye akamatsu-san and saihara-kun." he started to walk to the left hallway.
Rantarou's first period was Civics yet to the right side is saiharas' and Kaede's first period which is science. "oops.." shuichi started to walk quickly to class with kaede speed walking behind him. kaede sat down in her seat which is next to tenko and gonta
"AKAMATSUUU!!!" tenko screamed at her
"o-ow.. Chabashira-san i'm right here.." kaede pressed her hand on her ear and dropped her bag "Gonta tell Chabashira-san to please say sorry to Akamatsu-san.." gonta smiled and put his hand on chabashira's shoulder "R-Right!! sorry akamatsu!" tenko apologized getting up from her seat "it's alright" kaede smiled and takes her papers out to get ready for class
Shuichi's seat was next to Himiko and An empty seat. "Saihara-kun.. Nyeh.." himiko waved her hand at him while with her other hand grabbed her papers for class "Oh. Hello Yumeno-san." he smiled and sat down placing his bag down slowly and grabbing his paper for class as well "how are you?" shuichi asks starting to get his pencil out to do some quick correction on his answers. he didn't get enough sleep or time to do his homework since he was always talking with kokichi that night "I'm fine.. Nyeh, and you?" himiko grabbed her pencil and then placed her head on the table "oh i'm okay so far.. rantaro took my hat so i guess i have none for today which uh.. kinda makes me slightly maybe just a little.. uncomfortable.." shuichi awkwardly smiles and scratches his head "ah.. yeah i noticed.." himiko smiled
The teacher finally arrived at the classroom, everyone got silent for class.
