I froze. Staring at the women in front of me. I couldn't move, I couldn't think, this had all happened so quickly. I stood there in shock and before I could react she had me on the ground with a sword to my throat. I didn't say anything, just looked up into her cold, cunning eyes which glared right back at me. For one short hysterical moment I considered making a sarcastic comment but thought better of it and continued to stare at her. No one said a word.

After what felt like 20 minutes the silence became unbearable. I had to break it. What would I say though? Something to confuse her? Humiliate? Convince her to let me go? I must think of something clever. Sadly the only thing that I managed to force out was-

"So... You're not Arthur." nice job Merlin good observation.

She smirked. "Hello Emrise."

"H-hello.... Can I stand up now?"

"Mmmmm unless you want your throat slit, I suggest you stay down."

I flinched and nodded.

She smiled to herself in horrifying satisfaction then looked at me with a sickly sweet expression. "Now Emrise," she said in an obnoxiously friendly manner, "Normally I would cut your heart out and feed it to the horse," that's a lovely image thank you Morgana.

"But as you have shown yourself as useful, I shall take you as a prisoner and see how I may deal with you when I return to my people," She continued some what irritably. Almost as if she heard my thoughts... Could she?! God dammit Merlin Gaius always said that sarcasm would bite you in the butt one day-

"And he was right. Come along!" Crap.

After a long time of walking behind a horse with my hands tied together and avoiding the obstacles that come with walking behind a horse with my hands tied together, I was begining to feel rebellious. Eventually, Morgana asked if I needed water. To this I replied promptly with a "screw you" and tried to turn away from her in the most dignified way possible when having your hands tied to a horse. At this she growled something under her breath and urged the horse to move faster. Thus ending my rebellion.

After about five hours though, I had become painfully aware of how little sleep I had gotten in the past 48 hours. My brain was begining to slow down and I barely reacted things like tripping or running into the horses backside. Every so often my eyes threatened to close and I began to regret insulting Morgana.

After eight hours of constant movement my brain had become so foggy with sleep deprivation that my general thought process went like this:
"So if I kissed Morgana when she was in Arthur's form does that mean I kissed a girl? Eeeeeeewwww"
"This horse smells really bad, we need a new one soon"
"Morgana is a stupid."

My thoughts had managed to shift over to the less mature side of things.

Finally, after eleven hours, Morgana finally decided that the horse needed a rest and stopped by a stream. I immediately collapsed and fell into a deep sleep, only to be awakened moments later by Morgana shouting insults at me. Thus our journey resumed and I continued aggressively thinking things about her and hoping she would hear my thoughts. Hopefully she wouldn't see all the pain and disappointment behind the insults.

At some point we stopped. She made camp. I fell asleep with my hands tied to the horse, too tired to attempt any kind of escape what so ever. As I slept, I dreamt the usual nightmares and awoke only to realize that the hope of his return was once again gone.
