Stranded {Sequel to Earth To Echo 2}

Plan #2

JACK'S POV:

I look at Alex and knew his smile was fake. 

"Alex, what's wrong?" I ask him again.

"Okay, so, when you left, we found out why Echo was here," he replies.

"Continue," I tell him.

"He was chasing a criminal up in space and the ship landed in the cliff. We blew it up, but not the criminal. The criminal is damage and lose. We need a plan 2," he says. I look at him. I put my headphones in and since my roommate is still sleeping.

"Why didn't you tell me when I was in the garage? Before I left?" I ask him. I am not mad, I am not mad. I breath in and out. "Can Alex and I talk alone for a minute?" I ask the other guys. They nod and left the room. 

"We all agreed we wouldn't. You said it yourself. This is a big deal for you. I just wanted you to go to New York and go to the program," he explains.

"Still, I could still have a chance of getting in," I tell him.

"I'm sorry. We all are. But you wouldn't have a bigger chance," he says.

"I don't know. What was plan 1?" I ask.

"You're not mad?" He asks.

"Let's not talk about it. I deal with it later. What was plan 1?" I ask him.

"It was to blow up the ship. With what your brothers gave us," he replies. I sigh.

"Um, I guess plan two is to do research on the criminal. I don't know," I reply. "I probably would know better if you told me before I left for New York," I add.

"Calm down, the criminal is in a key and is damage. Possible chance he won't get out," Alex says.

"Alex!" I whisper yell. "This is serious. An alien criminal on Earth. Of course there's a possibility the criminal will get out. What are you thinking anyways?!" I whisper yell again.

"I'm sorry, just calm down" he tells me.

"Whatever. Listen, I have ten minutes. Plan 2, you guys are on your own. I can't help you. Maybe tomorrow I can get on a flight to Nevada," I explain.

"No! Stay in New York. I'll handle it," he tells me.

"Are you sure?" I ask him. He nods and smiles. I smile back but small.

"Kay. Get some sleep. I miss you by the way," he says.

"I miss you too, but still. I wish you told me before I left for New York," I tell him. He nods. I end the call and close my laptop.

EMMA'S POV:

Jack is hating us. I have a feeling. Tuck calms me a little. I lay my head on his shoulder.

"She doesn't hate us. Yet," Tuck says.

"She'll hate us when she comes back," I tell him.

"How do you think a Alex is doing since she raise her voice at him?" He asks.

"We're his best friends. We should be there for him," I reply. He nods and holds me tight.

"So, why do you want Alex and Jackson together so bad?" He asks me.

"I see the way they look at each other. Even though they snap at each other once in awhile, I know they have strong feelings for each other. They deserve each other. Like we do," I reply.

"Okay, but meddling is kind of not helping. Is it?" He asks.

"I'm being a good friend. Plus, Alex really likes Jack. He needs all the advice he can get," I reply. Tuck nods and kisses my forehead. I smile. I see Alex just pacing back and forth. I look at Tuck and he nods. We walk over to Alex.

"She said we are on our own. I have a feeling she is gonna get on a plane and come home." Alex says.

"No she won't," Tuck reassures him.

"She will! She is already mad we didn't tell her, and the fact we let her leave without knowing what is going on! She even said she is gonna get on the next flight out!" Alex yells. Tuck looks at him.

"Alex, she'll be fine, let her be. We need a plan 2. So what she say?" I ask him.

"She doesn't know, but said we should do research on the criminal alien," he replies. I look at Tuck who won't look at me.

"Tuck, come on," I tell him. He nods and we sit separate.

"Okay, you aren't looking at me. What wrong?" I ask him.

"Em, it's just that, it's junior year. We're all almost seventeen and then we all go separate ways," he replies.

"Whatever. What's your plan 2?" I ask him.

"We do research and ideas. Ask Echo ideas, and information on this criminal. See if we can change the criminal to good," he replies. I smile.

"I like that idea," I reply. "Then, we have to get them home,"'I add. He nods and we stand up.

"Okay guys! Plan 2! Research and see if we can change the personality of this criminal!" Tuck yells. We all nod and Echo starts analyzing research.
