EMMA'S POV:

I love the summer air. I wore a pair of jean shorts and a tank top. I walk into my kitchen and see my family. I kiss my parents cheeks goodbye and walk to Jackson's house.

I knock twice on her Garage door and it opens.

"Hey guys," I greet them. I sit next to Tuck and kiss his cheek.

"Get a room," Jackson says. You got that right. Jackson and Alex aren't together. I don't really know why.

"Whatever," I tell her.

"So what y'all doing for the summer?" Munch asks us.

"I'm doing nothing. I'm just going to lay in my pool and play video games," Jackson says. "Maybe do some damage in this town," she adds.

"You're dad isn't the sheriff anymore," Tuck reminds her.

"Yeah, but my uncle is," she says and throws a popcorn in the air and catches it in her mouth.

"Wow, what does your family don't do?" Alex asks.

"I don't really know," she shrugs. We all laugh and joke around till Gary, Jackson's brother barges in.

"Jack, Gigi and I got dates for tonight and we're going out. Dad's working the late shift. See you in the morning," He says and walks out of the room.

"Dates?" I question JACKSON.

"Yeah, well, my brothers actually scored this time. They still do alien stuff but it's annoying," she says.

"Is it weird that they're here?" Alex asks.

"Nah, I'm just glad I don't deal with them," she jokes and we all laugh.

"Let's play truth or dare," I tell them. They all groan and I throw popcorn at each one of them.

"Fine. I go first," Jack says. "Alex, truth or dare?" She asks him.

"Truth," he says.

"You're no fun," she complains.

"Is it true you love Selena Gomez that you dream about her?" Munch asks.

"Nah, man. She's like thirty," Alex says.

"She's in her twenties," I correct him. I look at Jack.

"Hell no. I ain't doing this," she says.

"Yes you are. Truth or dare?" I ask her.

"Dare," she says simply.

"I dare you to sing us a song," I tell her.

"Nope," she says popping the 'p'. We all look at her and realize something.

"Change it then. We dare you to ride a bike," I correct it.

"No! Every time I tried I fell off," she says.

"Then why have a bike," I point to the one on her wall. She grabs it and puts it on the ground. She opens the garage and looks at the drive way.

"Anyone going to teach me how?!" She asks. We all laugh. I put a helmet on her head.

"If I fall, I blame you guys," she says.

She rides down the driveway and just pedals, till she fell on the grass. We all look at her and start laughing our asses off at her. She glares at us as she gets back up and throws the helmet on the ground. She drags the bike back up the drive way.

"See? It's easy," Tuck says, but more as a joke.

"Oh shut it," she says. She puts the bike back on the wall and we sit back down.

"Enough with this truth and dare shit," Munch says. We all just nod and head to Jack's backyard.

"Nice pool," Alex comments. We climb up into her treehouse and walk around.

"You can have a party in this!" I exaggerate.

"Yeah, well i built it myself. I was sort of proud but I want to paint it," Jack says.

"I'll help with that," I tell her.

Dusk came in and we all stare at the ceiling. It was amazing how Jack has this place.

"You guys want to see something cool?" Jack asks us. We nod. She stands up and flips a switch. The roof disappears replace by a bulletproof glass.

"Wow," we all say. She lays back down in between Alex and me. We point to all the stars and Tuck just films it.

"Look!" Munch yells. A shooting star moves across the sky. It didn't look like a shooting star though. It was moving fast. Really fast and it crashes into the empty field. We all run outside to the field.

We all look at it. It was a ship.

"It's Echo," Jack says.

We all look at each other and look back at Echo.
