Will it Work?

ALEX'S POV:

It's Saturday and I check on OoVoo if Jack is on. I click her name and wait for it to ring. I know I want to ask her everything about what is going on. 

"Hey," I greet her.

"Hey, came up with a different plan?" She asks. I nod. She smiles and I smile back.

"It's to do research and see if we can make friends with the criminal," I explain.

"That's good. And crazy," she says, a little unsure by the face she just made. 

"Whats wrong?" I ask her.

"Well, what if he tries to hurt you before you even speak?" She asks.

"Jackson will be fine. Your brothers gave us materials we need," I reply. I smile to reassure her.

"Okay, well how is everyone?" She asks.

"Fine," I reply. "How's New York?" I ask.

"Amazing! The city is beautiful and big!" She says.

"That's great," I tell her.

"Are you sure you don't want me to come back? I can! Like you guys look like you need help," she says.

"No, Jack we're fine. Stay in the program. You worked hard for it. Stay in New York," I tell her. I stop everything and got to change the subject real quick. 

"But you guys hardly text me on updates," she says. She sounds so upset and not happy bout that. 

"We'll start now. I promise. Don't worry," I tell her. She smiles and just nods.

"I'm sorry for almost snapping yesterday," she apologizes.

"It's fine. It's my fault anyways," I tell her. She nods and keeps her smile on. "When you comeback, I will pick you up from the airport and we will go get Wendy's and eat it on the cliff. I will also fill you in on how great of a hero your boyfriend is." I do a quick superhero pose and hear her laugh. 

"You know, you never made us official yet, but I gotta go. I have classes in ten." she says.

"Okay, bye. I miss you." I tell her and smile. She laughs a little and smiles back. "I love you," I blurt out. She smiles a little more. 

"I love you too! I miss you, bye," she says and ends the call. I look at Echo who pulls up the information on the criminal alien.

"Thanks Echo," I tell him. He beeps and sits next to me. I scroll through the info and see the alien is so dangerous. Shit, we are doomed.

"I'm now scared," Munch says.

"We need to be brave," I tell them. They nod.

"Echo, plan 2?" Tuck asks.

Echo posts a full plan.

"Destroy it," Emma reads aloud.

"Let's do that," I say.

We grab the lasers, tiny bombs, and other gear Gary gave us.
