Jackson covers her eyes from the bright flash.

The five people in the car were laughing as they follow the kids.

"Everyone is after this alien. Plans are failing. Last choice is make this alien go bonkers," a guy with shaggy hair says.

"I know, but it's hard if we don't have the alien," a boy around the five kids age says.

Alex sees Jackson covering her eyes and sees Munch looking at the van. Alex stands in front of Jackson and holds her close.

Jackson burry her face into Alex's chest and they walk to the front quickly. Emma turns back and sees the three worried.

"We are being followed!" Munch exclaims.

Tuck speeds on the bumpy road and sees the diner.

"What now?!" Munch yells.

"Just go to the diner. We need to get Echo!" Emma replies.

Tuck pulls into the diner parking lot and turns off the engine.

"Are they behind us?" Emma asks scared.

They all look to the back and see nothing. They open the door and headed inside to the diner. Locking the RV.

They walk to the diner and sat down. Jack's eyes widen when a familiar boy to her catches her eyes.

"Hey, Jackson," The boy says with a flashy white smile. Alex felt his hands turn into fists.

"Hey, Darrel," Jack greets back with a smile back.

"So who are these people? Never thought you'd be friends with goodie goodies," Darrel comments bout the four kids near Jack.

"People change D. I'm still the same," Jack replies.

"Whatever. Here want a stick?" He asks her pulling out a cigar.

"You know I don't smoke," she reminds him.

Darrel moves close to Jack their foreheads touching. Jack feels tense and frozen.

"Ditch being good and go back to your old self," he demands.

"She's not going anywhere," Alex tells the boy.

"I'm not scared of you," Darrel snaps.

"Should be," Alex snaps back. You can tell the tense between the two boys as Alex pushed Darrel away from Jackson. 

"Here's your stupid note! Get lost or die!" Darrel yells at them and storms away.

Jack picks up the cigar and unwraps it.

In the meadows where I grew

Maybe time for a brand new start
