All right, everyone! It's the moment you've all been waiting for: how have your beloved competitors compared against each other? Without further ado:
In Fourth Place,
A gentle-hearted boy stuck with a voice which was anything but, Leo Wilder offered a look into the minds of faction built on ambition past the point of sanity. Contrasting affection and madness at every turn, his entries explored how love could make or unmake the mind, to great effect. Many congratulations, and we certainly hope his writer will return to give us another taste.
In Third Place,
Like most successful tributes, Ozias Alva had issues by the spade- however, few can claim the same subtlety and skill with which they were revealed and considered. The revelation of his parentage and the discussion of its psychological toll on him made for an intriguing, well-developed character arc, and it's no surprise to anyone that the sincerity of the character and his motivations carried his author to the Finals.
In Second Place,
Brandy Alva brought a number of strengths to the table: as the other half of the Alva family, her plot held the potential for drama to rival any soap opera. As Oz's mother and Adam's former lover, she was well-equipped with the character interactions to turn any scene into a heartfelt character study. Last but not least, her author's deft touch brought all of these elements to life and proved that even when you're a soul-sucking infernal monster, family always comes first.
So Obviously, That Leaves...
HannahFare might not know this, but she's set a record in my career as a host: never before has an author won two of my Games, let alone in a row. Nonetheless, as we look over The Cachail's entries, the reason for her victory is clear: a riveting exploration of an inhuman mind, description which played merrily with the eldritch aesthetic of the modern Fair Folk, and well-developed lore which made the setting dance to the will of her character arc. All are marks of the masterful author, and all have cemented her place at the top.

That's all for now, everyone! Special thanks go out to our lovely competitors: as you well know, it would be impossible to host these Games without you. For everyone who read along but perhaps didn't have the courage to comment: I hope you enjoyed the efforts of these fantastic authors and continue to appreciate their works in the future.
Stay tuned for the next competition- Author Games: One-Shot, One Kill!
As always, it's been a pleasure.
