I stepped into the lunchroom, and walked directly to the corner table that I always sat at by myself, with my head hung low,and my hood covering my face.
I sat at my table thinking about what blurry was going to do to me once I got home, until Josh waved at me,and i realized i had been staring at him the entire time I was thinking.
He motioned for me to come over and I shook my head slightly,so he came over to me.
"Hey Tyl-What happened to you!"
He quickly shifted the subject once he saw the blood on my hands.
"N-nothing...I-I'm f-fine...,"
I studdered out the words as quickly as I could hoping to change the direction that this conversation was going, but Josh persisted,
"You are not fine what happened?!"
He set his tray down and quickly sat beside me,looking at me inquisitively.
"I-i just...I f-fell down i-in the ha-ll..."
Please believe me...please believe me...I kept thinking in my head over and over hoping he would buy it.
"Really...a wall did that?"
And then after a few minutes,he said,
"O-okay..."
But I could tell he didn't trust what I said was true.

We sat there in silence until he finally spoke up,tearing me away from the thoughts blurry was planting in my mind.
"Hey Ty,where's your lunch?"
I sat there trying to think of any good excuse I could find.
"...i-uhm...I ate a b-big breakfast..."
I said trying to sound convincing, but he bought it.
"Well you can have my chips if you want them."
He said nudging the bag in my direction.
"No,n-no I'm fi-ne."
Goddamn this stutter I thought to myself.

Josh's POV

I must have been making the boy uncomfortable because the more I spoke the more he squirmed.
I was just trying to be friendly, and I also wanted to get away from the obnoxious populars, jocks, and cheerleaders. But it did help that Tyler was a beautiful boy to look at. The way he bit his rosy pink lips when he was thinking, and how his eyes were so deep they felt as if they were endless.
He looked at me just then and I had to say something quickly before he noticed I had been staring,
"So...wanna come hang out at my place after school?"
Tyler's whole body tensed and he quickly closed his eyes hiding them from me,and then shook his head as if he were trying to get water out of his dark brown hair. His movements then slowed and he managed to let a few words escape,
"...y-yeah....o-only for a co-uple of h-hours..."
I took note of everything that had just happened, but decided against talking about it,so instead I simply said,
"Meet me in front of the school after class and we will walk together."
He still wouldn't make eye contact and his body was still tensed, but he managed to nod before the bell rang and I was carried off by a group of girls that shared my next class with me.
I worried about him all though Geography, until the bell rang, and I ran out into the hall to grab my things and go meet Tyler.
