Chapter 2 It's been about a month since I've arrived in Central City. I've become close friends with Cisco and Caitlyn, they always tried comforting me every time I came to visit Barry which was practically everyday. I also began to develop a little crush on Dr. Wells... even after the accident I admired how well put together and the level of intelligence this man has. He was nothing like any guy I've been with before and I wanted to pursue him. However he has shown zero signs of being interested in me so I tried letting it go. - I woke up in my hotel room covered in sweat. I didn't like the idea of sleeping in hotels for so long-money was no issue but it didn't feel like home. So I decided to start looking for apartments it clearly looked like Barry would still be in a coma for quiet some time so that meant I was not going anywhere. I went to STAR labs to visit it Barry as usual. I entered the Cortex greeted by Cisco and Caitlyn, I looked over and saw Dr. Wells staring intently at me. I tried not to squirm under his glance. I look over to Cisco and Caitlyn who didn't seem to notice as I opened my mouth to say something-Dr. Wells spoke up before I could say anything. "I apologize Miss Queen, using my powers of observation I can't help but noticed how tired you look." I let out a sigh while Caitlyn and Cisco look up engaging in our interaction. "Oh well um ever since I came to Central city I've been sleeping at a hotel.. it's been hard because it's not giving me a strong sense of security" I blurt out. Dr wells nods his head understanding my point. Caitlyn cuts in "well Em if staying at a hotel is that difficult you could always stay with me I have an extra room." I look at her shocked "are you sure? I don't want to impose!" I say excitedly "Not at all! If you want you can move in tonight" "Of course thank you so much!" I say giving Caitlyn a hug. Dr wells has soft smile as he rolls away, with that Cisco plans a movie night in the cortex. As we sit down I watch the door where Dr. Wells left hoping he will join us but I'm soon left disappointed.
