*beep* *beep* I groan waking up. It's 5 am, I get up take a deep breath and get ready for the day. I smile when I remember I'm meeting with Dr. Wells at 6 to discuss my employment at STAR labs. I wear a tight dress that goes down to my knees wanting to look professional but attractive. I wear light makeup and head out. It's 5:58 when I arrive at jitters, I look around the crowded cafe to see if Dr. Wells arrived which he has not yet. I order coffee and chit chat with Iris for a bit. "So who are you meeting with Em?" Iris asks smirking.. I playfully roll my eyes "no one special just Dr. Wells about a job at STAR labs." "Oh wow." She seemed shocked. "It's no fair everyone is working there now.." pouting her lips "Ha well I don't know if I'll even get the job I'm not a scientist I want to be the labs legal advisor." I say sighing. Iris furrowed her eyebrows "looks like your man is here." I turn to see Dr. Wells rolling in, he scans the room until he locks eyes on me and half smiles. "See ya Iris" I say standing up walking over to Wells. "Hey" I breathe clearly nervous for this date.. business date. "Sorry to keep you waiting Miss Queen.. please let's have a seat." He said gesturing to the couch areas. I sit down while he rolls to the other side of the table. "Where should I begin.." he was interrupted by my phone ringing in my purse. My eyes grow wide "I am soo sorry." Picking up my phone and seeing that it's Oliver. Great he hasn't been returning my calls and decides to call me during this! "It's my brother.." Looking at Dr. Wells annoyed expression "answer it" he said looking away. Hey Oliver what's up Em, I found moms killer. WHAT? I can't say anymore.. don't try to contact me. I'll contact you when everything is done. Ollie what is going on. *he hangs up* I look up shocked at what I just heard.."Dr. Wells.... I'm sorry." I say whispering as a few tears stream down my face. He looked concerned "What happened Emily." He leaned forward looking into my eyes. Wow that was the first time he said my name and I loved it. He didn't call me Em, I liked it when people called me that but hearing Emily from him made me feel some type of way. He grabbed my hand bringing me back to reality. I looked down and looked back at him. "They found my mothers killer and I fear my brother is in a lot of danger." I said with tears still running down my face. Dr. Wells wiped them away gently with his hands. "I don't have to be at STAR labs for another 2 hours... let's talk about business some other day..would you like to go take a walk" he asked gently. My stomach was doing flips "yes" I said smiling. I stood up holding the door for him, he wheeled out and I followed. - Dr. Wells took me to a beautiful park. We walked.. well I walked he rolled, for an hour talking about my past life and why moving to Central City was a better option for me. I tried asking him about his past but he found ways to turn the attention back on me. "You want to start heading back to star labs Dr?" I said looking over to him watching him enjoy the view around us. "Yes.. and please Miss Queen call me Harrison when it's you and I.. however." I smiled knowing what was coming next.."however to maintain professionalism it's Dr. Wells around the crew.." I finished his thought laughing to myself.."for you Harrison please call me Emily.. anytime you want" I said winking at him. "I will because I am your boss.. Emily you are now the head of STAR labs legal team...congratulations.".."really?!" I said extremely shocked that I tripped over myself.. and onto Harrison's lab. He caught me looking into my eyes "really." He breathed.. he felt like a magnet and i was being pulled in. My arm was draped over his shoulder.. I soaked up this entire moment.. my heart beating so fast... electricity pulsing through one another.. we both went in for a kiss.. lips barley brushing each other's... I jump back when Harrison's phone rings. I roll my eyes at the ruined moment as Harrison growls answering the phone. "Yes? ..ok we will be right there." He said looking at me. I got up from his lap. "Barry's back at the lab.".. "I'll drive" I said still not over the moment Harrison and I shared. I started to wonder if he felt anything.. I guess I'll find out sooner or later.
