It was a pleasant day, the sun shining through the cracks in the wall of the abandoned building i sought refuge in. I had spent one week away from my safe heaven, where i would be protected, in which i intended to return back.

I gradual paced to the downstairs area of the abandoned building, which had left over furniture and alcohol however i was too young to drink. I stumbled upon a peculiar substance that i had came across the night before, i had previously examined it and determined it was thirium, the fluid that powered android biocomponents. It was made apparent to me that another android came here before i did probably seeking shelter from the rain and humans outside, where it went was a complete mystery and if it was ok i couldn't be certain.

My patients decrease worrying me as i knew i must stay hidden, the uncontrollable urge to walk out into the streets taunted me or perhaps it was my undying need for adventure. I stood by the one window that was not boarded up, instead the glass and wood was outside indicating it was kicked down from the inside. I was about to stroll away from the window before an interesting sight caught my eye, police officers patrolling the street with an android?

As i watched i caught glimpse of what i presumed they were looking for, a deviant AX400 fleeing her hiding spot with a child. Intrigued i stepped closer, she somehow avoided there sight and managed to escape without being caught, meaning i could too.

I carefully climbed through a hole in the fence without being seen and followed the direction of the train station, if i could make it there I'd be safe. I hid behind buildings and bus stops to hide in plain sight. However while doing so something caught my eye, an android stood outside a police car but as a detective himself.

I carried on walking while staring at the android as he stared forward at nothing. I was intrigued to why they would allow an android to assist a deviance case, after all that was what lieutenant Anderson was investigating. They must be searching for the two deviants that just went past. I thought in a calm and collective manner. It was unusual for an android to assist in a case like this, however they were helpful and more intelligent but regardless the android would never crack the case.

Suddenly, my thoughts were interrupted as a person crashed into me sending me into shock as i fell to the floor. My hat had been swooped off from my head to reveal a red LED, i was too shocked to react as i heard his voice speaking into a Walkie talkie. Eventually, i heard footsteps from behind, they sounded heavy signalling they were probably around 6'0 foot tall, which i also noted as the size of the android waiting by the car. A hand wrapped round my shoulder lifting me up, i shook it off and gave the officer a stern look as if to say 'thanks a lot'.

My wrists were cuffed behind my back and i was led to a police car, however when we arrived an odd occurrence happened.
"Me and Lieutenant Anderson will take her in the car to insure she is safe, after all we don't want her to self destruct." The android informed the other officers and guided me to a black car. I was well aware that being a deviant ment being deactivated if found but a bonus was there was no way to deactivate me, thanks to my past.

It was a quiet journey and i didn't bother take note of which way we went as i knew my way to the DPD quite well, although i had never entered.
"It would've been faster if you took a left turn from here, that doesn't matter though you do you." I mumbled from the back of the car. It wasn't an unusual occurrence for me to become cocky in these situations, in fact i enjoyed annoying those who annoyed me. I heard a grumble from the front i made out the words "fuckin' android" which was highly offensive to android kind and myself, i didn't hesitate to kick the back of his chair.

"Why you-" he was swiftly cut off as the android spoke.
"Lieutenant you should look where you're driving, you may cause an accident!" I was grateful because i was not replaceable like the android in front, once one becomes deviant you become irreplaceable, not that i was replaceable to begin with.
