The Eden club incident

It was late that night, it felt like the darkest night in the DPD but obviously people were still there, working and researching to crack cases. It amused me how much they missed, yet they were still always were able to succeed, even if they couldn't see the whole picture. Kind of like how they couldn't see the full picture while looking at me.

i slumped over on the brick bed, awaiting Connor to come in and say there was something fun to do, even though i wasn't supposed to be going with him or Hank after the stunt i pulled last time. The light illuminated the corner of my cell that i still had to take refuge in.

"Um... excuse me can you turn the Tv on, i wanna watch the news." i asked politely.

"Sure thing sweetheart." One of the women replied, she was surprisingly polite considering everyone hated androids and i myself was considered one.

Casually, she turned the Tv on and sat back down to work, probably trying to ignore Gavin who sat there throwing paper around. The news was never an interesting thing, but neither was being trapped in a cell for no reason. Sleepily, i watched the Tv until i started dosing off into a deep sleep, leaving me unaware of everything and anything.

An hour after my short sleep the DPD doors burst opened reveal Connor and Hank, who definitely wasn't near sober.

"C'mon Y/N we gotta go to Eden club! someone has been murdered!" Hank yell at the top of his lungs.

I jerked up at the fright he gave me. He seemed drunk and very irritated, i could see the tension between him and Connor, even if Connor couldn't show it, Hank could.

Slowly, one of the other officers opened the door clearing the exit for me to leave, it wasn't long before the door that isolated me from the outside was no longer in front as i darted out the cell. Energetically, i strolled up to Connor and looked up at him hoping he forgave me for being so reckless , as far as you could tell it appeared he did.

"Hey... uh long time no see?" I raised one eyebrow.

"I forgive you..." Happily, he smiled down at me, "You ready to go?"

i nodded in return smiling back at him, although i wasn't ready, i had forgotten the blue band i needed to wear around my arm. However it didn't matter, as far as anyone else was concerned i was made by Cyberlife and served humans.

We exited the DPD and marched to Hanks car, that had been expertly parked, outside the station. I could tell Hank was unable to drive, leaving me to conclude that Connor had driven the car to the DPD, and hopefully planed on driving it to our next destination. As i slid into the car a pungent odour rushed toward my face, the stench of alcohol surrounded me. intrigued, i began to analyse the smell pin pointing the exact alcohol he had drank only an hour ago, Jack Daniels... lots of it.

"Y'know it's not good to drink, especially not a whole bottle of whisky.... with nothing else to dilute it." There was no reply to my statement, only groaning and glares.

Eventually, we ended up outside Eden club as i sat there regretting everything, i had forgotten it was an android strip club and i was only thirteen. Hesitating, i clambered out of the car, while deconstructing what i saw in front of me. Just don't look at any of them... then there won't be a problem. i though in my head, too afraid to mumble it out loud.

Connor grabbed hold of my hand and walked up to the entrance, "Sorry no kids allowed", a man called stopping us.

"Their both with me, we're here to investigate a murder, i'm Lieutenant Anderson. Plus she's an android, who gives a shit?" Hank claimed.

"Alright go on in, good luck."

Connor still had grip of my hand and almost dragged me through quickly as though to not let me see the other androids, not that i wanted to see them anyway. As we entered the main area i saw an officer talking to the owner of the club, who didn't seem too upset, he was presumably asking about who else entered the room. However, i already knew they couldn't give that info away as half the time they don't even know about it themselves, or at least that's what i could tell from there files.
