The big bad bridge

Entering the car, Connor found a lighter and lit it, it was the only way to stop the bleeding at that point, however it meant i'd need to self repair the wound after to make it bullet proof again.

After, Hank requested we go to a bridge so he could relax, it was an odd request but Connor complied anyway. It was cold and dark outside the car, the snow was floating down from the sky like a bunch of tiny angels. Happily, people walked by dressed in furry jackets and boots, which wasn't such a bad idea, i however was dressed in the clothes Connor had given me.

Eventually, we arrived at the bridge and were told to stay in the car, as usual, Connor for once did wait. However only for a little while, then he went peeking out the car door and proceeded to walk over to the bench Hank had made his sanctuary. I didn't follow him, which was probably a good thing considering what happened next, i just watched with curiosity. Casually, Connor walked over to hank, probably commenting on the weather and what a night they had, i couldn't hear what they were saying or really lip read it either.

Irritated, Hank sat there staring at Connor with a slight hint of disgusted, which wasn't a good sign, he stood up and they talked some more. I sat there in the car, my eyes drifted to the radio as a smile spread across my face. Slowly, i edged toward the radio pressing the play button and lowering the volume, as to not disturb their conversation. It was peaceful in the car, i felt safe and secure, nothing could get to me in there... if i locked the doors that is. However, everything could get to anyone outside... just like a bullet hole through the head. That's when i turned round...

tension built up inside me, the sight of Hank holding Connor at gun point reflected through the  side mirrors on the car. Although, i was scared i built the courage to sneak outside and go towards them, they didn't seem to notice i had left the car. As i proceeded forward Hank began to yell at Connor saying, "What happens if i pull this trigger, huh? oblivion? Android heaven? nothing?". The obvious answer was "Nothing", he would just upload his memory to another model and walk out Cyberlifes door like nothing happened.

Eventually, Hank lowered his gun and turned round to walk away, as he did so he paused and saw me, his eyes were filled with guilt. Hank slowly walked past and entered the car again, while i walked towards Connor and slowly wrapped my arms around him. He stared down at me for a while emotionless, then a slight smile spread across his face and he hugged me back, i wasn't sure if he knew exactly what he was doing but he seemed to be happy.
