Meanwhile Anthony and Anna were simply enjoying each others company.

"Anthony?" Anna asked

"Yes, my love?" he answered

" I really don't want to stay alone tonight!" she said really anxious

Anthony gently stroke her cheek.

"You won't babe, I will talk to the doctor. After all, I will not ever leave you!"

He always managed to calm Anna down. But then her face went white

" Can...can you call the doctor please!" she said, while her headache went mad.

"Sweetie is everything alright?" Anthony asked worried

She tried to stretch her arm out, towards the painkillers.

"Wait, I will give you some!" Anthony said, standing up. Handling her some water. She instantly swallowed and rested her head back on the pillow.

"Much better!" Anna sighed, her eyes getting heavier.

Anthony kissed her forehead.

"I will get the doctor, be right back!" he said.

Anthony's POV

I was waiting at the reception for the doctor, when suddenly he run past me. I saw him rushing towards Annas room. My heart stopped, I ran after him. When I arrived at the room, three people were standing around Anna, trying to resuscitate her.

"What happened?" I yelled, my voice going shaky

"Someone gave her a wrong substance!" the doctor said

I tried to get to her, but a nurse pushed me away.

"Sir you can't be here, please leave the room!"

I went mad,

"This is my girlfriend, I won't leave her alone!"

Another nurse grabbed my arm, pushing me outside. Slamming the door in front of me. I was shattered, shaking and slide down in front of the room. Hearing them yelling.

"Defibrillator again!" the doctor yelled, when I heard that sound, while they were trying to reanimate her. In that moment, I lost contact to the real world, my thoughts were now I lost her forever. I broke down crying.

"She breaths, she breaths! We need to pump out her stomach, NOW!"

When I heard that, I jumped up, rushing into the room.

"Mr. Kiedis, please leave the room now!" he yelled at me again.

There she was laying, fragile, hardly breathing. My poor little soul, I thought still in trance. The nurse again pulling me out.

"What what happened?" I stuttered.

"We need to pump her stomach out, immediately. The doctor will be with you soon, Mr.Kiedis!" And the door closed again. I couldn't think straight, I got dizzy and everything went black.

I woke up in a hospital bed again, totally confused and feeling dizzy. I was attached to an infusion drop, probably after I passed out. Now I got a panic attack, searching for Anna. When I looked to my right, there she was laying, in the bed next to me. My eyes got teary, seeing her like that, she looked so vulnerable. Attached to all those cables and shit, she was breathing calmly though. Thank god, I didn't lost her for ever, she must have a guardian angel. What a strong soul and body this little girl has, I thought to myself. my thoughts were interrupted by the doctor walking in.

"Mr. Kiedis, i see you are awake now?" he asked me, while I looked nervous at him.

"What happened, is Anna ok?" I asked, while constantly watching her.

He cleared his throat

"Miss Anna is well now, she really fought for her life, thankfully we acted fast. After that we found you, outside the room, collapsed on the ground, that for the infusion.

Hearing that, took a big load off my chest. I thanked him, while again tearing up.

"When is she going to wake up?" I asked him

He smiled at me

"Soon Mr. Kiedis, give her some time. Also you need to rest as well! I will check on you later on."

I couldn't take my eyes off her, in need to hold her little hand.

"I won't leave your side, Anna!" I whispered, breaking down in tears.

Then I heard voices outside the room, I couldn't hear exactly what they were saying, cause they would talk in a whisper. Suddenly I recognized, it was Flea talking to John. I instantly got mad, he has the balls to come here, after all that shit.

"John, you can't get in there!" Flea said to him.

"Flea man, Anthony is laying there too, he still is my friend for sake!" John yelled

I didnt know how to feel about John being here, I just didn't want to see him now, especially with Anna next to me. Couldn't shout for Flea to come in, cause that would wake up Anna. So got all my shit together, slowly standing up, grabbing for the infusion drop and sliding towards the door. There I was standing in my hospital coat, opening the door. Both watching me shattered.

"John, fuck off!" I just said, while trying to pull Flea in.

John's eyes got teary, he was about to burst out in crying. He tried to take a glimpse at Anna. I blocked his view.

"Please, get out of here!" I said again, barely standing on my feet.

Flea looked worried at me.

"Anthony don't be so harsh on him man, he was worried about you too, when we heard you collapsed!"

Now I lost my patience completely.

"Flea, either you come in now or not!" given him the choice.

He just nod.

"John, wait for me outside ok?" Flea said and walked in. I shut the door, darting an angry glance at John. Then I crawled back into bed, Flea sitting next to me in silent, watching Anna, still sleeping. After a long silence Flea said to me

"Anthony, I know you don't want to hear this now, but you really need to give John a chance. He...he told me in the car about the gun situation and I was shocked an also disappointed by you. This really wasn't necessary, I mean it wasn't only his fault that Anna is now in this state of mind. You both fucked up! and with your rivalry you made it worse!"

I had to take a very deep breath. The things Flea said were right, but I just couldn't talk with John, at least not now. Then out of nowhere, something crossed my mind.

"Nicole!" I just said, leaving Flea watching me confused.

"What is with her?" he asked, still no idea what I wanted to say with that.

"She was here!" I said all upset

"Really?" Flea asked me "Why didn't you tell me that?"

"Cause I reamed her out, after she told me that she took the pictures, which came with the mail! I mean that was the reason this whole trouble started"

Flea still didn't get, what I was trying to point out. But he certainly was shocked about those details.

"So? I mean she did trouble before, what are you trying to point out Anthony?"

"Flea, she poisoned Anna! The doctors said, someone gave her a wrong substance. In fact It was me who handed her the pain pill, so Nicole somehow changed the pill with another and the nurse didn't notice it." I got really sweaty all of a sudden, realizing I nearly killed Anna.
