Part 23

Anna couldn't stop crying. This is what she wanted to hear and this made her complete again. Suddenly she realized that John was ready to dedicate everything to her, cause he really adored her. She leeched on to John and he wrapped his arms around her so tight. Simply with that intense hug he showed her, that he won't let her go, again. This is what cured her soul. There they were, sitting on the curb stone, holding each other in a very deep embrace. After all, all what they needed were each other. She could feel John's heart pounding like crazy against her chest. It made her smile and she now looked John deep into his soft hazel eyes and all she could see was this huge amount of love. He rested his forehead against hers and softly stroked Anna's cheeks. Anna got lost in his eyes. When she thought it couldn't get any better, John slowly approached his lips towards hers and Anna slowly closed her eyes. Within one second she tasted John's lips on hers, she was blown away. Then John slowly pulled away and smiled brightly at her.

"So I was thinking, uhm I could bring you to the Chateau Marmont, you can stay there until we found an apartment ,you know?!" John said, sounding quite nervous.

"Chateau Marmont? No no no, John you can't do that, this is too expensive!"

"I don't care about money, I simply care about you Anna and I want you to be safe!" he said, standing up and reaching his hand out,to help Anna up.

"So let's go sweety!" he said still smiling at her.

Anna got up ,still feeling a bit shaky standing on her legs. John took her travelling bag and she grabbed her guitar case. They walked towards the bus station, holding hands. Anna squeezed his hand and gave him a quick peck on his cheek.

"Thank you John, for being there for me!" she whispered into his ear.

When they arrived at the station, Anna looked at John and said

"You know you can leave now, if you want, I can take care of myself!"

"What? Are you kidding me Anna? I will come with you, I don't leave you alone. Never again."

Anna couldn't speak a word. The bus arrived and John and her got in. Gladly they found a seat and as the bus was driving through the city of LA, Anna rested her head on John's shoulder. She felt really tired, her eyes nearly closed. John wrapped his hand around Anna's and hold it tight, all the way. Anna fell asleep, she didn't notice when exactly they arrived at the Chateau Marmont. John softly woke her up, with a tender kiss on her temple.

"Wake up sweety, we are here!"

Anna tried to stand up, but she felt so exhausted, she couldn't stand on her feet anymore. John really took care of her. He was holding her tight all the way, till they arrived in the lobby. She looked forward to a bed and some sleep, after all the trouble today. She felt like she was on drugs or something like that. That much exhaustion. While John unlocked the door, Anna leaned against the wall. John lifted her up and carried her in his arms, into the room. She finally was lying on this big,cozy kingsize bed. John closed the door and placed Anna's stuff in the corner. He walked over to her,got on his knees and let his hands run through her hair.

"Sweetheart, do you want me to stay here for the night?" he whispered

"Mh, John...please stay...don't want to be alone here...!" she murmured.

John laid next to her,wrapping  his arms around her and softly kissing her neck. Their bodies were now one,as they laid there entwined.  Anna felt the warmth of his body and now felt safe. He buried his face into her neck and whispered

"God I love you Anna!"

Anna played with his hands and softly placed kisses all over.

"Thank you for being here for me John...! She thought for a second and then said "You are my man!"
