Ezekiel contemplates interrupting the seemingly endless, currently fruitless back and forth between Zayn and Louis.
All in an effort to not possibly be kidnapped by an unstable entity-no one really knows what to even classify the young ravenette as anymore-that could destroy him if there's the slightest shift in his mood.

"Uh Zayn?" The long haired vampire watches in fascination as all semblance of arrogance and mocking amusement melts off the winged males face, morphing into a more disarming expression. Though below them an irritated scowl is plastered on the peeved Alpha wolf, left eye twitching as he swallows whatever irrational feelings of jealousy that wishes to ensnare him.

I send Ezekiel an arched brow in question, wondering what he needed, welcoming any chance to rattle my dear Alpha. "Uhm you see-" He clears his throat, eyes averted whilst his Adam's apple bobs with unease as he continues. "Maybeeee.. uh you should listen to what Alpha Louis has to say? I mean if you want to of course. I mean he has your best interest at heart I bet."

My slightly discombobulated mind takes a bit of time to process his unwarranted request. I tilt my head, sending him an eerie stare as my tail and ears flicker about slowly. "Did I ask you what you thought?"

I circle the tense male sat stiffly on the hard surface of the clock tower, my fingers still tangled in his brown tresses. "No sir."

I release his hair gently and kneel before him so that he can properly peer into the dark voids sat snugly in my eye sockets. Scrutinizing him, watching as he gulps nervously and tiny beads of sweat materialize on his porcelain skin.

"Pup! What are you doing? Don't you get any closer to his face dammit!" Louis growls in all consuming frustration, jealousy causing his blood to boil at their close proximity. He curses this situation, cringing at the thundering of his heart simply due to not having control of what's taking place. His need for control and dominance a natural effect of his raging, instinctive Alpha instincts. He despises that he can't just pluck his tiny mate down and bend him over his lap before leaving stinging palm prints on both his ass cheeks.

It's literally eating him alive and he doesn't like that. Doesn't want his primal desires to influence his personality too much or make him emotionally unstable in dire situations.

I send Louis a blank stare as an internal war is waged regarding his behavior. A part of me dissolves into a puddle of arousal at his every display of dominance while another part of me wants to teach him his place.

But what is his place?
Below you in the natural hierarchy of the universe.

That's not possible though. He's an Alpha and a King. I'm a mere civilian, a commoner if you will and a faerie.. or I was.
You know what you are, you just don't want to accept it and face reality.

Hm.

I look away from my fuming mate, not missing as his canines steadily grow and glisten as he glares at me. I grasp my poor attempt at a french braid tightly bringing his face closer to mine while simultaneously placing a patronizing finger on his lips. "Then shut the fuck up." I whisper chillingly, sick and tired of people telling me what to do as if I'm not competent enough to make decisions for myself.

"Yes sir, sorry sir." I smile brightly at his enthusiastic nod, patting the top of his head in praise at his obedience. He flinches away from my hand in fear, soon settling when he realizes that I didn't intend to attack him. Fiddling with a loose tendril of his hair, which I assume is an anxious habit.

Why? Why does his immediate submission and obedience please me so much? Why does it make my heart soar and lips quirk up into a devilish smirk?

"You're such a good boy. You do as I say, that makes me very pleased." In a split second my wings are spread out almost blocking the rays of the sun as I hold Ezekiel in my arms.
