"Oh gosh," I heave out breathlessly. I land on the tiled balcony of the Bieber home that leads to their bedroom, entering after a totally composed Ash. My whole friggin' body is under siege and he's as cool as a cucumber. "With the amount of shit that you buy, that I have to carry. I'm seriously wondering why I don't look like a body builder yet." I state in exasperation while wheezing softly. I throw the shopping bags on the carpeted floor and flop down on the King size bed.

Next time when Asher even mutters the word shopping I'm running for my life. Ash took complete advantage of the spare five hours before his date with Justin. We went to EVERY. FUCKING .STORE; TJ Maxx, Forever 21, Marshalls, Marmi... you name it, we were there. I carried eight shopping bags filled with clothes, shoes, accessories and makeup plus I had to parade around the mall with a giant sun hat on my head because Ash didn't want it to get 'wrinkled'.

My wings are killing me, I had to stop flying and walk I only started flying again when I saw the familiar apple tree beside Asher's house, we could've taken Asher's car but because he's an impatient twat we didn't... With the amount of pain my fingers are experiencing I feel like I have a mild case of Chickungunya, who knew that shopping was so fatiguing. On a higher note Ash did buy me the leather jacket so I guess my aching knees, burning calves and dislocated shoulders weren't for nothing. I make my wings disappear so they can rest and Ash does the same.

"Quit complaining Zayn, you should be thanking me," Thanking him! Is he nuts?!...wait... stupid question... "Heavens knows you need some muscles on those noodles you call arms." He replied with his usual sassy tone.

I playfully roll my eyes. "Oh Puh-lease Asher, we both know my 'noodle arms' could have you writhing under me while screaming in pleasure in 10 minutes flat. I bet I could even get you to forget all about your date with Justin not to mention the fact that I always win when we're arm wrestling." I started off seductively and then simmered down to playful banter.

He just gives me a dry look and continues to sift through the shopping bags for his outfit. Asher and I always rile up a possessive Justin with our seductive banter resulting in wild sex for Asher, something that the sex craved nuisance loves as much as shopping... and that is saying something.

"What are you going to wear to the Mating Gala Zayn?" I scoff at that. These gatherings are pointless, my mate is never there. "Zayn you're twenty years old, don't you think it's time to get serious about finding your mate instead of skipping all the gatherings for the mateless? Anyways as you should know, Tha Mating Gala is compulsory for every unmated being so you can't not go or leave after ten minutes like you usually do."

"Asher, my mate wasn't at any of those 'gatherings' so it would have been pointless to go to any of them anyway." I state confidently.

Asher stops midway from fully putting on a spagetti strap black blouse, leaving his bare tattooed chest uncovered. 'Truly Blessed' beautifully designed across his chest in large font, along with his pierced navel on display. He continues putting on his blouse while speaking, "How are you so sure that your mate wasn't there? You always say that with so much conviction." He asks in confusion.

I sigh. "I just know Ash. It's a feeling that I get. You know that I always stay for the first half hour and I can just tell that my special someone isn't there... I don't know it's just a feeling I get and it has never failed me." I respond truthfully.

"Well The Mating Gala isn't pointless. Even the unmated Elemental Kings will be there–

I cut him off, "How is it that they've been around for so long and still haven't found their mates yet? And why are they so damn antisocial, I mean come the hell on, how is it that no one out of their kingdom has seen them for over a hundred years?! and now all of a sudden they're coming to The Mating Gala."
