After Louis and Harry had pestered me for affection and squabbled incessantly about which one of them is the more domineering counterpart for hours on end—can you imagine the intensity with which I'm rolling my eyes right now? I hope so—Louis had taken the liberty to put that—meaningless—debate on pause to formally announce that he, Harry and I are all mates.

Or in other—more accurate—words...

He begrudgingly included Harry after my elbow met his abdomen, a ferocious glare from my brunette angel was also tossed his way coupled with the nastiest hiss of indignation said angel could muster.

Harry was not having that bullshit on his watch, even if Louis had insisted that he was only joking around.

Yea right.

This had all taken place hours ago, though many of the inquiries amongst other pressing matters and less important moments that took place, still lingered in my mind.

A smug grin adorns my face as I recall a couple—not so important in general, but significant to me—moments that only served to stroke my evergrowing ego.
Firstly, an aftermath of the whole ordeal was the declaration that I'd be addressed as Lord Zayn—insert excited purple orbs—and the  horrified expression on Abel's face at the news leaving his Alphas mouth.

Honestly, I'm surprised that my mates and the surrounding lycan-vampire crowd didn't get inebriated off the fumes of self satisfaction wafting off my very being in that moment.

Hmm. Glad the little brat got official confirmation that I'm an authority figure and that the threat of a public spanking will forever loom over his head.

Cheshire grin intensifies.

The reception of the news was taken fairly well by majority of the lycans and visiting vampires from Harry's kingdom, who had already been privy of the knowledge. In contrast, the expression of those that were recently caught up to speed included shock, disbelief and puzzlement. None of which was due to us all being males, being differing species or the fact that there's three of us; since all of those things are pretty common.

Nope, the main issue was the fact that two Supreme leaders of entire species are mated as well. I could already see the gears turning and questions virtually overflowing from the thankfully respectfully sealed lips of everyone present. Though their eyes clearly conveyed the main consensus, which is, 'How is this relationship going to work?'

Louis hadn't provided an answer for that question since he and Harry have yet to formally discuss how both kingdoms would proceed going forward. Instead opting to emphasize that the people of his kingdom should treat both the vampire royal and Zayn with as much respect as they would bestow unto him. Though he reiterated that until further notice, he has the final say on all matters in regard to his kingdom. Then he went on a tangent about the limitations of Harry's jurisdiction in his territory until they've come to a compromise behind the scenes.

Due to the sheer magnitude of the lycans territory and the ginormous population size, most of the inhabitants were unable to gather at the designated location for announcements and decrees of the King and other high ranking officials. Thankfully, this wasn't an issue as the event was broadcasted live and accessible to every citizen as per usual protocol.

"Is she anything like you?" Zayn heaves out loudly as he tries to concentrate hard enough to manipulate the boulder Louis had unceremoniously plopped infront of him. Spontaneously deciding that learning the extent of his abilities would be beneficial. A decision both his mates agreed with. Choosing to use rock, paper, scissors to decide which species'—vampire or lycan—abilities he would test out first; Louis won.
