(BTW, some of the events may be switched around, recreated, or ignored due to the fact that Mysty isn't a typical trainer from the game. For example, the meeting of both Lillie and Nebby.)

(Recap)

"This concludes the first battle of the festival!" Everyone clapped and continued with the festive activities; like eating and battling each other. I stepped down from the platform; noticing that Lillie was missing. Did she leave? I looked around for her and saw her walking into another part of the village. Where are you going? I saw as the bag she had around her moved and she spoke down to it. Does she have a Pokemon or something hidden in there? But why is she hiding it?

Mysty Pov

I followed Lillie up a long trail; to a bridge connecting to another part of the island. Something flew out of her bag and hovered over the ground. "Nebby! Get back in the bag before someone sees you!" Lillie called out to it. The glob-looking creature ignored her and hovered across the bridge. I've never seen that Pokemon before; perhaps it's a new species. It looked happy and relieved to be out of the bag; but just then, three Spearow flew towards the Pokemon and attacked it.

"N-Nebby!" Lillie cried out. The Spearow flew around the Pokemon; hitting it with their talons as they surrounded it. I walked towards Lillie; the sound of my shoes giving away my presence. Lillie turned around and looked at me with a sorrowful face. "Oh, Mysty." She started. "Please! You have to help Nebby!" Nebby? Is that what it's called? Or is it her nickname for it? "Those Spearow are hurting it! But...I'm too afraid to go out there and help it." She continued.

I hummed in understanding and went over to the bridge. It didn't look very sturdy; but I wasn't going to let that stop me from helping the other Pokemon. I took a step and tested my weight on the bridge. It creaked; but didn't give out. The quicker I get Nebby out of there the better. I took a few more steps; advancing towards the Pokemon. The Spearow saw me and began attacking me as well; leaving a few scratches on my arms and back as I used my body to protect Nebby. The Pokemon looked up at me curiously as I scooped it into my chest and tried to crawl back to safety.

Big mistake. The bridge gave out; causing Nebby and I to fall down towards the river. I screamed as we plummeted towards our possible death; but then something grabbed us. A yellow and orange-colored Pokemon with a familiar mohawk carried us up and set us down on the solid ground next to Lillie. "Tapu Koko." I breathed out in astonishment. It flew back a short distance and cried out before flying up into the air; disappearing from our sight as it flew off to who-knows-where.

It came to save us...That's absolutely amazing! Nebby slipped through me arms and went over to Lillie; who scolded it from going off on its own. Nebby then saw something shining in the sunlight on the ground and hovered over to it. "Hm? What's that?" Lillie questioned aloud. Nebby took it into its mouth and gave it to Lillie. "It looks like it's some sort of necklace."

Lillie then looked up at me and bowed. "I almost forgot to thank you; Mysty! Thank you so much for saving Nebby" She said. I shook my head. "Tapu Koko saved it; not me." I corrected her. She giggled lightly. "It saved both of you; but you protected Nebby as best as you could against the Spearow." She replied. I shrugged in defeated and she held out the necklace Nebby found to me.

"Here; I want you to have this. Tapu Koko dropped it on the ground towards you before it flew away. I have no idea why it wanted to give this to you; but take it anyway." She said. I took the necklace and pulled it over my head so that I now wore it around my neck. It was a simple chain-necklace with a beautiful rainbow-colored stone with a sterling silver outline. It had a DNA-looking design on it; making me question what it was.
