"Kamahalan!

He was furious at this fucking low life!

"Damn you! Why did you deliberately took out that one crucial information to me! WHY!" he was shouting at the top of his lungs.

He was duped once again by Vermilion. Inakala niyang tagumpay ang naging misyon nila, but it turned out to be a failure. Their operation failed! Naisahan naman sila. This time around it's because of the stupidity of this man!

His stare was murderous.

He was made to believe earlier on that they outwitted Vermilion for the first time.

He initially thought that his plan worked, that Vermilion's plan backfired so the thief just cowardly wagged his tail and ran away.

After all the comotion earlier, he and his team checked the whole place. Aside from the cut wires from the main circuit that caused the blackout, not a single trace of evidence was found. Masyadong malinis. Masyadong madali.

He recalled the past cases of the thief. Something was off. He knew something was not in its right place.

Clarity came only after the Baron arrived. Things turned more complicated. He was insisting to see The Sunset Pavilion. He already told him that the painting was safe inside Boreas Palace and that it will be returned tomorrow. Still, he insisted on seeing the painting displayed in the Gallery.

He and his team went to the Gallery to check it. The painting was in tact. It was still there on its proper place. But there was something on the painting that caught his attention. It was a small card. Agad niyang kinuha at binasa ito.

It was from Vermilion.

Hi Prince Ares,

Easiest mission, ever.

Thanks.

Vermilion.

The Baron's face went dead shock.

Apparently, this imbecile forgot to loop his team this very, very crucial information.

The real painting was not the one in Boreas Palace. It was not even the one in the vault. The real painting was the one displayed in the Gallery. The Baron was the only person who knew that fact.

Ginamit nito ang taktikang hiding in plain sight.

After that, all hell broke loose. Bwisit na bwisit siya sa nangyari! His blood went raising through his head. This good for nothing oaf circumvented his plans. Damn it!

But it was no use crying over spilled milk.

Tinitigan na lamang niya ito saka sinabing, "This is a royal decree, the Police will no longer assist you in any of your calls until your last breath.
