The Road to The Return of Unsettling Fear - A Monster Hunter Story

Chapter One

In the middle of the sea there is a deserted island that was filled with monsters, a village named Moga built in this island because its known for its ancient ruins that need to be study and that when the people of Moga decided to help with it by making the village in a safe coast of the island. A hunter named Steve was trusted by the Hunters Guild to keep the village safe from the monsters by start training there until he receive instruction from the guild. When Steve came to Moga village the village chief welcomed him in the village and made him his student because the chief was a well known sea hunter and his son is taking rule of the village so the chief can focus on making Steve the hunter that make him proud of, and Steve was ready to do his best for the village. After a month of training, a letter came to the chief says that the guild will send someone from the guild to give Steve his missions. The chief went to talk to Steve to let him know that soon he will start his work for the guild,

Suddenly a kid was running back to the village shouting: (HELP, SOMEBODY HELP), everyone hurries to the kid,

A man: (what's wrong boy),

The Kid: (there are Jaggies surrounding my brother because he was near their nest, I couldn't save him),

Everyone: (oh my god!),

Then Steve came: (I'll go save him),

The chief: (you're not ready for real combat yet),

Steve: (but we don't have time or the kid will be their lunch),

The chief's son came: (I trust that you will bring him back safe my friend, so take this sword & shield),

Steve: (thanks junior),

Chief's son [embarrassed]: (I told you not to call me that in front of everyone).

Steve went to look for the kid in the area where the Jaggi nest is but he didn't find the kid. Suddenly, Steve heard a voice,

boy's voice: (ATTACK NOW),

Steve ran to the voice's direction and he saw a creature is protecting the kid from two small Jaggies and a big one, Steve helped the creature to kill the small Jaggies then they saw the big one running toward the kid,

the little creature: (cha-cha no-no like Great Jaggi),

then he threw a boomerang at the Great Jaggi's face to attract it and it hit it directly,

Steve: (now kid come to us),

the kid ran to Steve,

Steve:(is this one called Great Jaggi),

the creature: (you no-no know Great Jaggi, you silly-silly guy),

the Great Jaggi pissed off because the boomerang hit him and run toward the creature and Steve,

the creature: (now cha-cha will show silly-silly human how to kill Great-Great Jaggi),

Steve [madly]: (I'm not silly),

the creature throw a bomb on the Great Jaggi and explode on its face and died.

Steve: (WooW, when did you had bombs shorty),

the creature: (name Cha-Cha no Shorty),

Steve: (Cha-cha?!),

the kid: (let's go home now before any monster see us).

Everyone in the village is waiting in the entrance of the village when Steve came back with the kid and Cha-Cha, everyone were happy because the kid is safe,

The Chief: (good job Steve, you really did it, and thank you for saving the boy from the Jaggies),

Steve: (actually, there was a Great Jaggi when I found the kid but this little guy helped me to kill the Jaggies and Great Jaggi),

Cha-Cha: (I kill-kill Great Jaggi, human no-no help me I kill-kill Great Jaggi alone-alone),

The chief: (this little guy is a Shakalaka, these creature known for their good relationship with people in this part of the world),

Steve: (but this one is different, he was really good in combat, he actually killed the Great Jaggi with a single thing.... A bomb),

The chief: (indeed, Shakalaka known for their incredible gunpowder used for making powerful bombs, this guy could be a good ally for us. So Cha-Cha do you want to stay with us?),

Cha-Cha: (yes-yes I will so I can show hunter how Cha-Cha great in hunt),

Steve [laughing]: (oh man, now shorty will teach me how to fight),

everyone laughed and Cha-Cha became a friend with the people of Moga village, and the story of Steve has started.
