Chapter Fifteen

  Steve and his team placed the barrel bombs on the south entrance of the cave and left in separate way while Dennis is preparing the pitfall trap on the same area between two cave entrance and left looking for the monster, meanwhile, Steve placed the drugged meat that can put any who eat it to sleep in the middle of the cave and headed north. In the same time, Rebecca went to a an area were there can found many kind of things to gather such as herbs and rare bugs, and suddenly she heard a roar coming from another side of what looks like a dead end but it’s actually big fallen tree trunks covering that side, she drew her sword and stayed on a blocking pose. Out of nowhere, the trees sent flying toward Rebecca, she dived under one of the trunks and got hit with another one sending her flying with it slamming on a big rock and got blocked by the trunk, she got severely injured and fall unconscious, Clair heard the noise and ran toward the noise and saw Rebecca on her right unconscious and turned to her left and saw a giant T-Rex looking Wyvern with brown greenish body and partly small blackish head,

Clair [shocked]: (oh my god! This looks like Deviljho… but he’s different. I better send a signal flare for Steve and Dennis!),

Clair saw the monster headed to Rebecca and she threw a dung bomb to repel him, then she fired a signal flare and ran to help Rebecca, the Deviljho looking monster roared but went to another area. Clair tried to free the unconscious Rebecca but the trunk was too heavy for her to lift it alone, a few moments after, Dennis came and got shock from the way the area looks, tree trunks everywhere, and ran toward Clair and Rebecca,

Dennis [screaming]: (REBECCA!!),

Dennis tried to push away the trunk,

Clair: (wait! Her legs are stuck under it you’ll smash her legs if you try that, we need Steve, You have to go bring him now!),

Dennis: (I can’t leave, we need to do this without him),

Clair: (listen to me! We need both you and Steve to lift the trunk while I drag her out!),

Dennis [start dropping tears]: (but… she… I can’t leave her… like this),

Clair punched Dennis in his face trying to make him regain his focus,

Clair: (you dumbass! She’ll die if you don’t go, I can protect her until you bring Steve. If you really love her, you’ll go bring Steve now!),

Dennis [crying]: (but… how did you…),

Clair: (you think we don’t know, just go bring Steve now!),

Dennis dried his tears and went looking for Steve, he heard the monster’s roar and saw Steve running out from the cave,

Steve [running toward Dennis]: (It’s here!),

Steve stopped trying to catch his breath besides Dennis,

Steve [heavily breathing]: (it… looks like a Deviljho!),

The monster came out of the cave running toward them,

Dennis: (this is not a Deviljho!? It’s different),

Steve: (he tries to stay with the fashion or something?),

Dennis: (we need to go help Clair!),

Steve: (we need to hunt this thing down!),

Dennis: (you don’t understand, we need you!),

Steve: (we can’t run from this!),

Dennis: (yes we can! Let’s go!),

Steve: (I’m not running away!),

Steve dashed toward the monster and drew his sword,

Dennis: (FINE! No one needs you!),

Dennis turned his back and ran away, but suddenly the monster jumped toward Steve, who was trying to keep a distance to catch his breath, and fell on his back, the monster hit Steve’s weapon away and tried to eat Steve and Steve let out a scream that noticed Dennis and turn,
