The Road to The Return of Unsettling Fear - A Monster Hunter Story

Chapter Fourteen

   After seven months of completing guild quests one after another in succession, both Steve & Dennis reached the fifth rank which is in the High Rank level and Rebecca went to the Grand rank as Rank six hunter, and along their hunting quests they met a great sword user called Clair who was in a lower rank than them but she reached the fifth rank along side with Steve and Dennis, the four stayed together and made a great friendship through that time, and now they are heading to the port decided to go on their last quest before joining Rebecca in the G rank,

Steve [excited]: (I can’t wait to become a grand ranked hunter! Are they treating the G hunters differently Rebecca?),

Rebecca: (no I don’t see anything different),

Clair: (it’s good that this time they counted us all in this one quest, so it’s not necessary that each of us have to post the quest so no need for three times hunting the same kind of monster),

Dennis: (they said that the test will be on a newly discovered monster),

Rebecca: (yah that’s why I’m joining you this time),

Steve [teasing]: (ok thanks for leaving your grand hunters friend to help us),

Clair: (you want to see this monster, right?),

Rebecca: (y… yah, I don’t know why they didn’t try with grand hunters),

Steve: (it doesn’t matter what monster it might be, we’re hunting it down),

Dennis: (capturing it alive will be better don’t you think?),

Clair: (you’re right Dennis, that’ll be better for doing research on it),

Rebecca: (actually, hunting it is better),

Clair: (why is that?),

Rebecca: (the researchers tried to see it on it’s habitat but they got killed by it),

Steve: (so they want us to kill it so they can run tests on a dead one first. It’ll be easy for hunters specially us),

Dennis: (well… it’s true we ranked up fast the all of us but still I think we might need to be more careful on this one),

Rebecca: (I do remember been tested against an Ivory Lagiacrus but you guys are going to be tested against something else),

Steve: (I’ll stick with my Rathalos S armor and I’ll be using Despot's Boltbreaker which is the Zinogre long sword, what about you guys?),

Dennis: (so far my best armor is the Lagiacrus S armor and on this quest I’ll be using a Steel Uragaan hammer the Meltroknuckle),

Rebecca: (I guess my Barioth S armor will be suitable for hunting in the Tundra and I’ll use the Barioth Sword and Shield, the Cryo Cross),

Clair: (will I’m going with my Nargacuga armor and its great sword the Hidden Blade),

Steve: (guess that settle it then, we’ll meet in the dock number 15),

Everyone else: (okay),

Everyone went to prepare for the quest and went to the 15th dock,

Steve saw Dennis in front of the guild desk choosing the quest from Shuri and both Rebecca and Clair sitting on four person’s table deciding for the team’s meal before departing, Steve went to Dennis,

Steve: (hey pal!),

Dennis: (hello! I signed for us all on that quest),

Shuri: (be careful guys),

Steve: (its fine… we will),

Steve [while heading to the table]: (hey man, I see you grew an interest on Rebecca don’t you),
