Chapter Thirteen

   In the next day morning, Steve and his friend went to the port where they saw a lot of hunters roaming all over the place,

Steve: (wow, I never thought there will be all these hunters here in the early morning!),

Shuri: (the port is a wake all the time),

Steve: (well I’m getting excited here like a little kid, let’s go see what they have in the tavern),

Dennis: (I will check the restaurant, I really need to eat something),

Shuri: (I’m hungry too),

Steve: (I’ll meet you there then),

Steve went to the tavern and found hunters there and he went toward them,

A female voice: (excuse me!),

Steve started looking around,

The female voice: (over hear!),

Steve turned and saw a female hunter that is a bit shorter than him waving to him,

Female hunter: (I haven’t seen you here before. Based on your armor you are not a new hunter),

Steve: (and who are you?),

Female hunter: (my name is Rebecca, and I’m here to help new hunters to get started their hunting carrier),

Steve: (I’m Steve and I’m actually new here but I’ve been hunting for some time),

Rebecca: (so you have never worked on your hunter rank in the guild),

Steve: (no I haven’t),

Rebecca: (then you will start as a hunter of the first rank),

Steve: (and what hunter rank are you?),

Rebecca: (I’m a rank 3 hunter),

Steve: (so you are a High Rank hunter),

Rebecca: (indeed. You can raise your hunter rank by meeting the qualification, which is proving your self in challenging quests. For the low rank hunters its rank 1 and 2, rank 3 to 5 is the high rank hunters and from rank 6 you are a Grand rank hunter or G-Rank for short. But when you reach the 8th rank you need to be tested and you might become an Elite hunter and basically your rank will increase to 50 and will be working in the headquarter),

Steve: (and what if I didn’t become an Elite hunter?),

Rebecca: (well, you’ll stay as a G-Rank hunter and then you’ll be rising your Rank based on your skills and your achievements. The Elite hunters are rarely seen in the tavern so G-Rank hunters have the opportunity to rise their rank even more than the Elite hunters, the highest hunter rank in the history of this country was 999),

Steve [surprised]: (really!),

Rebecca: (yah, no one reached the rank 1,000 ever, though they say the one who reached the rank 999 was the founder of this countries Hunter Guild),

Steve: (wow so he was THAT good, amazing! I wish to meet him at least once),

Rebecca: (sadly our generation can’t meet him, this guild formed 200 years ago, so he is possibly isn’t here anymore),

Steve: (I guess you’re right. So ………. Where should I go to start my carrier here?),

Rebecca: (there is several counters in this great port, you can just go to a less crowded one sign up there, and then you’ll get your Hunter ID card like this one), she showed Steve her card, (you need to show receptionists each time you are going on a quest and the quest will be added to your profile, your profile will be updated with your progress, whether you succeeded or not in your most recent quests and who you joined with),
