"Hang on, why are we supposed to believe you?" Sherlock asked.
"Ah, I knew that would come up. You want me to prove it?" the Doctor said. He ran out the door.
"Hey!" Sherlock yelled as he ran out, following the Doctor, with Irene beside him.
The Doctor ran into what he called the "TARDIS" and left the door open.
Sherlock and Irene ran in, too.
"It's bigger," Sherlock started.
"Actually, properly bigger," Irene started, too.
"On the inside," they heard the Doctor's voice say from behind the big, round thing in the middle.
"And that's a console," Irene observed.
"It's a spaceship," the Doctor said.
"Alright, I believe you," Sherlock confirmed.
Irene nodded in agreement.
Sherlock walked around the console room. To his right, hanging on a rail, was a hat that cabbies wear.
Sherlock glanced at the Doctor, then looked back at the hat.
"Doctor, you were also that cabbie that followed us everywhere, weren't you?"
"Yep, did you like my Scottish accent?" he replied, doing the accent.
Irene laughed and so did Sherlock, feeling as if a weight had been lifted from their shoulders.
"And that's everything, isn't it?" Sherlock asked.
"Not really," another voice answered.
"Yes, not quite," still another voice answered.
Two women walked out of the hallway. One was short and had straight, long, brunette hair. The other was average height and had large, blond, curly hair.
"Ah, yes, this is River, my wife," the Doctor said, gesturing to the one with the blond hair, "and this is-"
"Clara," Sherlock interrupted.
Clara smiled.
The Doctor nodded.
"We met outside Irene's flat. You told me about Moriarty," Sherlock said.
"All part of the plan," she answered in her small, pip-squeaky voice.
"And you," Irene said as she walked over to stand next to Sherlock and pointed at River, "You've been following me. I saw you follow me around everyday before Jim kidnapped me and I was reunited with Mr. Holmes here."
"Again, all part of the plan," River answered. She turned to the Doctor. "So, did you tell them? About Viola, I mean."
"Of course! You underestimate me, dear," the Doctor answered River as he "booped" her on the nose.
"Well, what now?" Sherlock asked.
"Well, now that I can't stop Viola from dying-"
"Why? Why can't you stop her death? You have a time machine. Go save her!" Irene insisted.
"No, that's not how time travel works," the Doctor answered. "See, now that you've already met us, saving her would prevent this from happening, causing a paradox."
"I didn't understand half of what you just said," Sherlock complained.
"Time just doesn't allow us to save her," the Doctor responded before pointing out, "We can still stop Merissa, though."
"Don't worry, I've got my best man on that," Sherlock answered.
