Poisonkit stomped his paw on the ground, working on to get the small thorn prick out of his paw. Poisonkit smelled the fresh smell at the fresh kill pile. He looked around Shadowclans territory. Slimepaw, the medicine cat was sorting her herbs as usual, which Poisonkit found interesting. But he realized after he becomes a medicine cat he cannot be a warrior. He wriggled as he walked through the entrance of the medicine den and tripped over a daisy leaf. "What brings you here, Poisonkit?" Slimekit says in her usual gleeful voice. He squinted his eyes. "Mom you know me." Poisonkit breaths. He paused and blinked for a while and began to feel the thorn under her paw. He shrivels, then comes back to focus on his mom. His mom continues to sort berries. Lightnight limped in, yowling in pain as Slimepaw got a herb and dropped it by the kits paw. "What's wrong, Lightnight?" The grey and white kits mom surged. Lightnight barely spoke. He started to bleed out. "Who did this to you?" Slimepaw panicked, as she got the herb and healing things for the queens pelt. Lightnight groaned in pain. "Help me" the pained queen managed to say. Slimepaw gave her the herb "eat this" Slimepaw gave her a purple herb. Lightnight started to pick on it. She remembers the Fox ripple in her orange pelt. Lightnight ate it, then started getting up slowly. Lightnight barely ate, and her pelt was darkening. Her kits had already gone to the ceremony to become apprentices. Poisonkit was already heading towards the ceremony. He looked at the other kits. "Yellowfang, Kitepaw, Frogpelt, and Grapeflower" Mangopaw meowed. Yellowfang put his paw down. "You will be earning your apprentices today." Mangopaw paces back and forth in front of the cats. Mangopaw stops. "Icepaw, your mentor is Yellowfang." Mangopaw mewed. Yellowfang dipped his head to look at his apprentice. Then touched noses. "Poisonpaw, your mentor is kitepaw, a wise and strong mentor." Poisonpaw looked up and touched noses. Lavakit couldn't wait for her part, so she just said it. And it wasn't nice. "POISON! SHE IS A MEAN MENTOR AND IVE BEEN BULLIED BY HER!" Lavakit stared at them. "Well, Frogpelt, your apprentice is Lavamolt." Mangopaw scoffed. Lavamolt purred softly. Frogpelt touched noses as usual. "Grapeflower, your apprentice is Dragonfly." Mangopaw said with glee at his daughter. Dragonfly nodded and touched noses with Grapeflower. Kitepaw smiled and then rested his tail on Poisonpaw's shoulder. My mom will be proud of me! Poisonpaw thought, with a purr rising up his chest. "Ok we need to place more scent markers." Kitepaw grunts. Poison picked up a collar and put it around his neck. "Your not a kitty pet, take that off!" Kitepaw looks at her apprentice. Kitepaw isn't that bad she just is strict... Poison thought. Poison places some scent markers out for Shadowclan territory. He got one more and placed it down.

"There we go Poison!" Kitepaw mewed. Poison nodded his head and a purr raised up his chest with a little mroww coming out. They continued to walk. Poison spotted Yellowfang all by hisself. "Aren't we supposed to help him?" Poison walked over to the cat. "Oh Hey Poison!" Yellowfang twisted his head to look back at the kit. Poison waves his tail back and forth. "Where's your apprentice..." Poison meowed. Yellowfang's tail went to the ground. "She went to go hunt and then got lost..." Yellowfang sighs. Poison looks up. "Well I can help!" Kitepaw nods and strokes Poisonpaw's flank with her tail. "Run along Now kits, you have a lil mission to attend to." Kitepaw walks into Shadowclan territory.
