I couldn't help myself. I had to go back to school just to see Derek again. As I walked into the school I saw Derek at his locker, holding something that looks like a rose.
A rose? Why would he give me a rose? We just met..
I slowly walked towards him and my heart were pounding like never before. He turned around and when he saw me, he smiled. He started to move forward and had his eyes on me all the time. We were just a few meter away from eachother when I realized that he didn't look or smile at me. I turned around. Alison. Why would he give me a rose anyway? I asked myself.
He walked towards Alison and gave here a big hug and gave her the rose. She have Derek a kiss and they started to walk towards Derek's locker again.
"Hey Diana, didn't see you there." Derek said as the walked by me.
"Alison, this is Diana, we are in the same math class."
"Oh hey." Alison said without looking at me. "Let's go babe, or else we will be late for class." Alison reached for Derek's hand and they walked away.
I just stood there watching them walk away. I slided down at the wall and sat on the floor. I sat there for hours. People just walked by me.
"Why are you still sitting here?" I heard a voice said. Derek.
"Hm, talking to me?" I asked.
"No, I'm talking to the wall, silly." He laughed.
"Come, let's go home." He reached for my hand.
