"Well, this is my crib." I said giving him a little smile.
"Looks nice." Derek said, brushing of some dust of the kitchen bench.
"If I knew that you would come over, I would have clean the house." I said short.
"It's no problem, Diana" He said.
I bumped down in the sofa and Derek did the same. We talked for hours. Everything felt so good, like we had known eachother for years. Derek's phone rang. It was his dad telling him to come home.
"See you in school tomorrow?" He asked.
"I don't know, sorry." I said looking at him with sad eyes.
"Alison won't do anything. It was just empty words. I'll knock at your door tomorrow so we can walk to school together, aight?" He said.
"We'll see." I said with a quiet tone.
He gave me a light hug before he closed the door behind him.
I went up to my room and went straight to bed. I fell asleep right away but I soon woke up by some strange sound from my window. I went up from my bed to see what was going on.
