A cold breeze hit my face making me want to hide under my blanket but I realized I couldn't move. I opened my eyes to see the bright morning light and the ground on the tent. My sleeping bag was warm until it hit me that my bag was in the corner of the tent. I got up slowly and noticed that I was sleeping with Maddie. A red flag went off in my brain and I wanted to scream but kept it inside.

I looked around the blue tent and tried not to wake the beast, slowly I moved his hand from my waist and got up and walked out slowly. When I opened the tent door I took a deep breath to smell bacon which smelt a little bad. I zipped up the tent slowly and walked over to Dan who was sitting with Kate.

"Oh! Good morning! Want any bacon?" Kate said shoving a plate of bacon in my face. I pushed it away and shook my head. A plate of pancakes caught my eye and I instantly ran to it and grabbed the biggest one. Dan's eyes widened and Kate was shocked that I said no to bacon the greatest things in their life but not the best in my life.

Before I could say crap a loud zip came from the tent and all of us turned our attention to Maddie. Maddie rubbed his eyes and ran his fingers through his messy hair. Maddie looked at all of us and gave the look that showed that they were confused but also tired.

"Should I even care?" Maddie asked. All of us shook our heads and went back to what we were doing. Maddie looked at me , I blushed a little and choked on my pancake. Maddie rushed over and helped me out which ended with us looking at each other.

"You guys are so cute." Kate said. I was ready for Maddie to yell baka and other crap but instead got a laugh.

"Well take a picture it will last longer." Kate gasped and smiled as she tried to reach for her phone only to find out that she left it in the tent. I smiled and looked at Maddie as he smiled at the sight of Kate running for her phone. Not long after Maddie turned to me and stopped smiling.

"What?" Maddie said raising an eye brow.

"Nothing." I said letting out a small laugh.

"Okay. Also I want to talk to you about something." Maddie said helping me up. We walked a little deeper into the forest and then stopped when we heard a stream that we knew was far away from the camp sight.

Me an Maddie sat in silence where one of us would  glance at each other. Maddie laughed and scratched the back of his neck and looked at me. His eyes met mine and I felt my heart beat. Fear suddenly clouded my brain and anxiety flooded inside me. 'Why are you afraid of love?' I said to myself as Maddie reached for me.

Maddie leaned in and I felt my fear kick in, I wanted to kiss him but I was afraid that he was  going to hurt me. As he leaned closer I felt him breathing and he was warm. Almost and inch away from kissing I started to cry and looked at Maddie as he opened his eyes.

"No.....I'm sorry..." Maddie pulled away and sadness replaced his happy face. Maddie wiped my face and hugged me.

"It's okay." Maddie whispered. Maddie rubbed my back as I cried into his chest and shushed me a couple times. After a while or so I calmed down and pulled away. Maddie smiled and made me smile, Maddie pulled out a picture and grabbed my hand and put the picture in my hand.  I looked down at the picture and smiled.

Then out of nowhere a gust of wind blew the picture away, I watched as the cold air carried the photo away. I gasped and ran as fast as I could, when I came to the little stream I jumped onto the rocks and made it to the other side. When I felt that I was so close I suddenly fell and tumbled down the hill.

When I woke up I looked at my phone and saw it had been three hours, leaves were all over me and I didn't want to wake up. I got up slowly and opened my eyes to be face to face with a deer. Cold brown eyes looked into mine and I felt the creature breathing on me. Shocked I blinked and reached for the deer as light shined down on me. The beautiful creature let out a big huff making me pull my hand away but then to touch the deer.
