Your Gay is Showing Pt. 2

Bucky and Steve continued flirting back and forth until they were both hungry for breakfast. They nearly walked out hand in hand but then Bucky pulled away as soon as he got outside.

"What?" Steve said a little hurt as looked at Bucky confused.

"We can't do that otherwise it will look like we're gay," Bucky says. He thought he heard hurt in Steve's voice but it was gone as soon as it appeared so Bucky thought he just imagined it. They walked in awkward silence into the diner. 

"so when do we start?" Steve said trying to break the awkwardness

"We can start now. When the waiter comes over you can order for me. I'll have a coffee with creamer and sugar and a herbed egg sandwich!" 

"Why am I ordering for you?"

"It's polite. So from now on, or at least for breakfast, I am a girl."

"Okay. Ummmm..." Steve had no idea what to do. 

"Psst as Bucky I say try some of the flirting techniques I showed you but remember keep it quite," Bucky whispered to Steve reminding him smiling at the end of the sentence. 

"You make my sadness go away with that smile," Steve says quietly so others don't here.

"Aww thank you!" Bucky says in his attempt at a girls voice. Steve chuckled at that. 

"Just hearing your voice makes me wanna melt," Steve spoke seductively

"Aren't you just a little flirt."

"Maybe I am... Maybe I'm not." Bucky in his girl form snickered at that.

"This is really fun and you're really cute!" Bucky in his girl form said trying to challenge Steve and his abilities. 

"What? Sorry, I just got lost in your stunningness I forgot what to do."

"The waiters coming we can take a break, but you still have to order for me," Bucky said being back to Bucky. "Also good job! That was really impressive!"

"Thanks," Steve said quite proud of himself. The waiter came over.

"Hello, fellows! My names Richard I'll be taken you... James?"

Oh... um. Hi Richard..." Richard was a man Bucky used to see in the underground gay sanctuary.

"Anyways--- I'll umm... I'll take your orders," Richard said awkwardly avoiding eye contact with Bucky by looking everywhere except at him.  

"He'll have a coffee with creamer and sugar and a herbed egg sandwich and I'll have a coffee with just creamer and the ham and cheese grits," Steve said trying to make it less awkward but failing since he had to order for Bucky. Richard just shook his head and wrote everything down and quickly walked away. "Who was that?"

"Richard..." Bucky said a little on edge. 

"I got that part. But how did he know you?"

"He didn't know me," Bucky spit out lying.

"Stop lying Buck. He literally said your name," Steve said pointedly.

"Fine. He was an old friend and we had a fallout."

"What do you mean?"

"We used to be as good of friends as you and I. Then he said something stupid I yelled at him and kicked him out of my apartment."

"Ohh... um okay."

"Also when you're on a date don't embarrass her!" Bucky said laughing. The rest of the breakfast went by normally except for when Richard came back with the food. Richard just dropped the food in front of them, said there check is at the counter when they're ready and walked away.
