"Later" I whispered under my breath and went back to my class room.

He has a daughter? He had a daughter? I felt bad, we were fooling around in Italy while he had a full blown family back home. But I didn't feel too bad though, it seemed she had her head on straight, I mean she's in a elite boarding school it Italy, she's obviously intelligent.
He was divorced. I shouldn't feel good about that but I did. I wanted to yell out of happiness and scream to the rooftops out of how joyous I was. I had make a connection to Oliver, in a way. I met his daughter, his sweet, beautiful daughter. She looked so much like him. Her eyes were a blueish green, her hair like gold, and her smile could warm your heart.
She reminded me of him, how she got flustered, the way she says "later", the things she does, the way she acts, they are just so similar.

I went to the piano in my class room and played how I played for Oliver that day, but instead of teasing him, I just played the way he wanted, Bach.
My eyes flooded with tears at the sound of the song, I hadn't played it since that day. I always cried at any thought of Oliver. I missed him.
Thank god this was my off period.

The bell rung for lunch, I had composed myself earlier so I was ready to go. I had planned to sit with Ella, was I being to weird around her? She just reminded me of him so much.
Okay so I'm going to give her space, but if she's not sitting with anyone I'll go and sit with her.•
I walked into the lunch room and saw Ella and a older girl that I Remember being Olivia. So that means I'm not sitting by her.
I sat with the teachers like I normally do and watched Ella and Olivia. Every time Olivia would touch her she would squirms little, just, she didn't want to be touched by her, I wonder why. When Olivia would say something funny Ella would fake a laugh, she was uncomfortable with Olivia, what was up with that girl?
I stopped looking at the girls, I didnt want to be weird. Although she did let me just look at her earlier, why?
Ella was a question that seemingly didn't want to be answered.

The last bell rang and I said goodbye to a few of my students. I was left with a few papers to grade but decided to just take them home. As I walked through the hallway I passed by only four students but closer to the door i saw Ella walking my way.
"Oh hello El-" she stopped herself and looked around, making sure no one was around to hear her say my first name "Elio" she whispered.
I laughed, she was cute, "hey Ella"
"Are you headed home?" She asked me, her head titled slightly
You know, she actually remind my a lot of...myself? She was a combination of the two of us. "Yeah, I have papers to grade."
"Oh that's no fun." She smiled up at me, she was quite short to be honest.
"Yeah, it's part of being a teacher. Hey, by the way, I saw you talking to Olivia at lunch, I had her two years ago, she's nice isn't she?"
"She's alright I guess."
"You'll grow to like her, she's quite out there, but, you'll get used to her."
"And what if I grow to hate her?"
I was shocked by her answer. I remembered the conversation I had with my family about Oliver, how were Ella and I so similar? Great minds think alike I guess. "You won't" I ruffled her blonde hair and started to walk to the exit door "bye Ella, see you tomorrow"
"Later!" She said from behind me, and then I heard her flats tap in the opposite direction of me, heading to her dorm.
