I'm IanYuki. Writer of Mai's Mission that is dedicated to the author of the previous chapters, maikaoru.

Nomirin's POV

I get my cellphone from my locker and hid it in the pocket of my jacket. Using cellphones inside the campus is against the rules. I'm the students council's vice president and I must be obeying the rules, not just me but everyone. Since we can't use cellphones inside the campus, I walk to go at the rooftop to use my cellphone. I'm just going to message my cousin that I'm in school because she asked where am I and if I can go out with her. I continued walking until I reached the stairs leading to the door of rooftop. When I am at the front of the door, I noticed that the door is slightly opened. I looked through the slightly opened door and saw two men standing, the one looks like our new classmate, Naoi, if I'm not mistaken.

And the other one standing, he looks familiar. I think I already saw him but I can't clearly remember. I'm already going to leave when I heard 'Mai' in their conversation and I suddenly found my feet walk near the door. I stayed standing there while listening. They must be talking about my friend, Mai. And, I want to know what they're talking about because I heard 'Mai" for many times.

"You still like her, right?" From the voice, I can tell it's Naoi thats speaking.

"Like is not the word, Naoi." The other one must said that because he mentioned 'Naoi' and it's just the two of them talking.

I can't understand their point but there's one thing I am sure, Kaito broke Mai's heart and Naoi is willing to repair it.

I withdrew my phone from my pocket to message my cousin.

'I'm in school. Sorry, I can't go out with you.' I pressed the send button.

"BOO!" I accidentally dropped my cellphone on the ground causing a loud noise, even though it's not very loud, it seems like loud because it's silent here. He is member of students council. Kamiru is not talking, he just tries to remove my hand from his mouth.

"Bakit mo ginawa 'yon? Inii-stalk mo ba sila Naoi at Kaito?" Kamiru asked.

"Hinde." I answered. I don't want to talk anything about what I heard, not even Mai. I will try to find out Naoi and Kaito's connection to Mai. Mai may seem like a joyful person who doesn't have problems but if you look deeply to her eyes, you can see her sadness. Her sadness that is hidden by her smiles. She's really a strong person, even though she's broken, she can still smile and pretend like there's no problem. I'm happy that she's smiling but just because a person is smiling, it doesn't mean they're happy. I know that Mai is a sad person and now, I just got a clue.

1st clue: She's sad because her heart is broken.

"Tss." Kamiru said,"Bakit mo ginagamit 'yang cellphone mo?

I said as I left him. He followed me.

"Okay." He said as he smiled.

He said as he saluted. I giggled. Mai said she has a work to do, she can't come with me to eat.

Mai, I know your smiles aren't real. You try to be happy because the sadness you are suffering is too much but shedding a tear for once is not weakness, shedding a tear is a proof that you're crying for someone or something important and special. Shedding a tear doesn't always show weakness, sometimes it shows that you are strong because you don't change even though the sadness is too much. But you didn't  let that sadness change you Mai. You didn't let that sadness turns to anger even if you're badly hurt.
