Chapter 4: Only One Can Remain

Blake's POV

We had just got into view of Chen's Island. Me and Griffin where on the top level of the ship when we heard a horn blow. We walked to the front of the Top Deck standing at the railing alongside Skylor, Shade, Jacob, and Gravis. I learned their names because Griffin dragged me along to talk to people. I saw My Friends Lloyd, Lily, Kai, Cole, Jay, Alyssa, and Garmadon, down below on the Bottom Deck. Along with Camille, Ash, Paleman, Karloff, Neuro, and Tox. As we got closer I saw along the docks there were people with red-maroon cloaks on chanting something. Down below Karloff was moving closer to Kai and Karloff pushed Kai saying "Let me see."

Kai said back "Do you mind?" I snickered holding in a true laugh. They both got into fighting stances but they where interrupted. By the people with the cloaks on the docks chanting and banging on drums. The ship pulled up to the dock and Clouse announced "Welcome to Chen's Island." While two of the Sailor-Gang members dropped a wooden plank so we could get of this ship. Clouse got off first saying "The Tournament Of Elements welcomes its brave fighters. Master Chen will be pleased you've returned, Sensei Garmadon." Griffin leaned over to me asking "Do they know each other?"

I responded "Beats me." Apparently Garmadon said something during that time but I didn't hear anything. Kai, Cole, Jay, Lily, Alyssa got off the Ship bombarding Garmadon with questions. When I got off I waited off towards the side. Griffin walked over to me asking "So your friends are the people bombarding the Old Man with questions?"

I responded "Yeah I'm here with them sort of. And I think I'm going to go over to them. Bye Griffin talk to you later." I got over to where my friends where they saw me walk up Kai immediately asked me "Where were you for the boat ride?"

I responded "Um... I was talking to the other Elemental Masters." I got a weird look from everyone except for Garmadon the he said "So your already trying to make other friends." I walked behind everyone and I noticed Skylor walking near us on the left side. Kai pushed us all to the side and Lily looks at him all offended and pushed him out of the way and starts dancing and skipping in front of Skylor. Kai looks super emabarresed. Skylor just giggles slightly and keeps walking inside. Kai was facepalming the whole time and when Skylor got out of eye range and to the gate. Kai sighed and kept walking. Cole said when we got with the other Elemental Masters "This is a big Island. Zane could be anywhere. Keep an eye out." I walked forward next to Griffin giving him a smile. Clouse opened the gate to reveal a purple carpet with more people in Maroon-Red cloaks hanging their heads down banging on a drum. I heard Jay say something but I tunned it out.

**Small Time Skip**

We where in the the main area where we would meet Chen our host. I was sitting next to Griffin on my left side and Cole on my right side. While Lily was sitting in the other side of her father and Alyssa was sitting next to Skylor. I heard Sensei Garmadon talking about something with Lloyd and Lily. I saw Clouse walk out of the shadows in front of us saying "All rise for Master Chen." I saw a Chair that was coming down from the ceiling like a Elevator. I thought that, That was Master Chen coming down coming down and me along side every other Elemental Master scrambled to get to our feet. The person on the throne who I could only guess to be Master Chen said "Welcome to the Tournament of Elements. Now everyone can die... Direct your attention to me." Chen started to laugh Garmadon said something else that I didn't catch. We sat down while Chen continued "Never before seen so Many Elemental Fighters under one roof. I see Master of Fire, Earth, Shadow, Speed. Even a prophesied Green Savior. And a former Pupil and the First Master Of Teleportation." He finished pointing at me. "This symbol before you is for the Anacondrai fiercest serpentine warrior to ever roam this land. It's creed: "Only one can remain." One of the Gang member people banged on the gong behind him it split in half showing a thing that showing the person you are going to battle. I wasn't on the board as of right now which meant I would be battling later and Lily and Alyssa weren't on the board either. Chen said "Behold a Jade Blade. Here, it represents Life. Obtain it and you move on. Allow your opponent to obtain it... Loser. The rules are simple. Every match will be different. No two fights will be the same. Your powers will keep you in the Tournament. Use it or lose it." I heard Karloff say from the other side of the room "Hm. What does Karloff win?"
