Chapter 7: Ninja Roll Pt. 1

Thank you all for reading this book now here is the next chapter: Ninja Roll. And sorry it's taken so long I haven't been feeling inspired to write.

Blake's POV

It was a Dark and stormy night no joke! It was raining cats and dogs outside and it was the day after the Jay v Cole battle happened. I hadn't slept last night so I was really tired but I was here being forced to watch the battle between Skylor Master of Amber and Jacob Master of Sound. It was so boring I already knew Jacob was going to lose because he was blind. I had Lloyd on left and no-one was sitting on my right Sensei Garmadon was sitting in-between Alyssa Who was sitting on the right side of Lloyd messing with Lloyd's hair and Lily then had Jay sitting on Lily's left. Chen announced "Skylor Master of Amber Versus Jacob Master of Sound." I looked over to see Jacob playing something on his guitar. Chen got irritated and yelled "Fight! Fight!"

Skylor was holding her spear pointing it at different pots saying "Eenie, meenie, minie, mo, catch a Jade Blade by its toe!" She threw her spear destroying a vase that had a Bow alonng with a few arrows in it. Skylor grabbed them and ran behind another vase hiding from Jacob and his sound waves. She ran out from behind the vase trying to shoot him but she missed and it went into a pillar. Jacob ran a jumped holding onto a pillar sending a really strong sound wave towards Skylor. It broke a vase that had Ninja Stars in it while up here it had rocked the lanterns that where hanging above us also causing us to cover our ears. Sensei Garmadon said "The Master of Sound's gotten stronger since the last time I saw him." Jacob sent sound waves at a vase Skylor was hiding behind but didn't see Skylor behind it. She stepped on her tip-toes trying to grab Jacob from behind but Jacob feels her touch him with his sound waves as she quickly gets back behind the vase. Jacob walked over to the vase he had destroyed earlier grabbing the Ninja Stars that where in it while put his guitar on his back. He threw the Ninja Stars at Skylor with her barely avoiding them. One of the Ninja Stars broke a vase with Skylor landing on the ground on her side. I looked over to see Kai coming over stepping on Camille, Neuro, Griffin, Pale, and Shade's feet. I face palmed while think that must have hurt. He sat down next to Jay saying "Sorry, all of these temples look the same. Did I miss anything?"

Jay replied "By the looks of it, you didn't miss much." I looked over to see everyone holding their feet. Griffin and Pale looked over at us. I mouthed at them "Sorry about Kai he's a... well jerk sometimes. But he didn't mean it on purpose." I finished giving them a smiling. Jay whispered saying "Maybe we shouldn't be sitting together. I mean, the more they think we're a team, the bigger targets we put on ourselves."

Lily whispered yelled at Jay "Don't say that, we are a team. Sure we just lost Cole and still can't find Zane, but we're a team just smaller. All the more reason to stick together." Lily finished giving Jay a smack on the backside of his head. Kai got up and asked "Skylor's fighting?"

Garmadon asked "What has him so excited?"

Alyssa responded "He had a crush on Skylor before he found out that they could be distance relatives or something."

Garmadon replied "Her element isn't fire. She's the Master of Amber, Power Of Absorption. She can emulate the power of anyone she's touched." During this time Skylor using Kai's power lit Jacob's guitar on fire causing Jacob to throw it away from him. I snickered at that while Kai continued "You're telling me we're not related?"

I muttered under my breath "Oh, boy here comes lovestruck Kai again." Skylor used Jacob's power destroying the vase right next to Jacob causing Jacob to jump back a bit. It was a blow dart thing. Jacob grabbed it and shot out the dart towards Skylor landing right in front of her lifted foot. If she would had put her foot down it should have gotten shot. Jacob kept shooting darts as Skylor as she snickered and did a bunch of backflips. All of the darts went through a weak part of the wall causing the Paper thin wall to get holes in it blowing in the air. I had a feeling that it would screw up how Jacob could see because of his echo location. Skylor walked behind Jacob running over to a vase that hasn't been broken yet breaking it and grabbing the Jade Blade that flew out. Everyone started to cheer for Skylor including all the Ninja expect me. Chen announced really loud "Winner! And loser." Chen pressed a button that opened a trapdoor causing Jacob to fall to who knows where. Chen signaled for all of us to follow him back to the Palace Arena so he could update the battle board.
