It was only a week later before Tyler saw a different color other then red.
This time it was orange.
But more specifically, a very blood like orange.
Painting has been a major thing during these past week, Tyler spending a little bit more money then he thought he would buying more canvases. Inspiration has been coming more and more often that Tyler would have to buy more tubes of paint, thinking that the rest would last for another few days if this keeps up.
Brendon has been quite surprised by Tyler's creativity and spent more time watching Tyler then being with Dallon; Dallon being the one to come to their apartment more often.
Brendon caught Dallon up about Tyler's weird color seeing and found it odd too.
"I've never dealt with that before Brendon so I don't know how to help, sorry."
Tyler waved it off, "it's fine, I just wish I knew what was happening."
Dallon opened his mouth again but was cut off by his phone, holding up one finger before getting up and answering. Brendon focused back to Tyler, furrowing his brows together as Tyler dipped his brush into a bright lilac purple.
"Do you know what color that is?" Brendon hummed, Tyler shaking his head.
"No, all the colors look like an orange got murdered," Brendon laughed as Tyler shook his head.
It took a few seconds but Brendon calmed down, "that color is a lilac purple."
Tyler raised a brow and looked at Brendon, "I never heard or seen that color before, is it pretty?"
Brendon nodded his head, telling Tyler that purple and yellow aren't good matches when Tyler mixed the two colors but Tyler only shrugged. Dallon came back a few minutes later, whispering something to Brendon who's jaw dropped and looked back at him.
"Again? How many times is that boy gonna dye his hair?"
Tyler didn't really care about their conversation but tuned in anyways.
"I don't know, he kept his hair red for like a week or so before changing it again," now that caught Tyler's attention.
"Who we talking about?" The brunet hummed as he dipped his brush in a cup full of water, swirling it round a bit.
Dallon shook his head, "you don't know him but his name is Josh, that crazy boy is gonna go bald if he's gonna keep changing his hair color."
Tyler only nodded his head, focusing back on his painting before another question slammed into his skull, "what color is it this time?"
What Brendon and Dallon didn't know was what color Tyler could see now.
"Some kind of orange, I think it's a mixture of red and orange but I'm not sure," Tyler nearly froze but said nothing, mumbling out that he needed a break and dashed to his room before either of the boys could say anything. Tyler paced back and forth with his heart pounding and questions creaking at his skull, his stomach twisting in knots and his lungs clogged.
This 'Josh' guy couldn't be Tyler's soulmate, right? Maybe it's just some coincidence and it's a one time thing, yeah, that has to be it.
Right?
