Maybe Tyler totally forgot about Josh staying with them but he was definitely surprised when he noticed someone new crashed out on the couch with Brendon sitting on the floor with his back to the couch. His body completely froze up and when Brendon noticed him, he quickly whisked Tyler away and into his bedroom.
Tyler was on the verge of a panic attack, "w-when did h-he get here...?"
Brendon didn't answer the question, "take deep breaths, Ty. In and out, follow my lead."
It took awhile but Tyler calmed down, taking more steady breaths rather then shaky.
"He got here about an hour ago, I didn't want to wake you up cause I knew you were going to react like this," Brendon calmly stated.
Tyler rubbed his eyes and nodded, gasping a bit when a new different shade of color come to view.
"New one? You don't have to explain, Josh came in with vibrant violet hair so I kind of figured you're seeing the same color. You probably saw the color yesterday as well but didn't take notice since I kind of disturbed you in your sleep..." Brendon slowly trailed off.
The brunet snickered and shook his head, "you always disturb me in my sleep and I probably did. I don't know why I'm finally taking notice right now."
Brendon rolled his eyes but nodded his head, Tyler freezing up when a raspy voice called out for Brendon. The raven haired boy telling Tyler to stay put before exiting. Tyler didn't even care that he was in Brendon's room and instantly dived right into his bed, wrapping his arms around a pillow and burying his face into it. Tyler almost fell asleep when the door creaked open and a person not named Brendon popped his head in. Tyler may not be able to see color but when his eyes landed on Josh, he swore he never saw anyone more beautiful. The brunet was very glad he decided to wear a black shirt to bed but still covered himself up when he sat up, their eyes never seemed to leave each other's before Josh broke the silence.
"May I..come in?" Tyler was hesitant but slowly nodded his head.
Tyler was gratefully that Josh still gave him space since this was unexpected and a little bit nerve racking. The brunet cuddled his knees to his chest and mumbled out words he thought he never speak.
"You can sit on the bed if you want," Tyler wanted to slap himself silly but kept a calm face.
Josh seemed a little bit nervous, Tyler didn't blame him, before slowly making his way over. He sat idly on the corner of the bed, Brendon told him to give Tyler some space since Tyler gets freaked out quite easily.
A surge of wants flooded through the brunets veins and for some reason, all Tyler wanted to do was to hug Josh or ran his fingers through Josh's hair, it looked so fluffy to Tyler.
Josh's voice snapped Tyler out of his trance, "I don't want to freak you out but is it ok if I come closer?"
Tyler never felt himself nod faster ever in his life, "yeah! Y-yeah, that's fine.."
Josh was kind of taken a back by Tyler's sudden outburst but was glad the brunet didn't say no. Josh made sure he didn't accidentally touch Tyler when he moved closer, Tyler seemed to notice and scooted over a bit. Their faces were close but not close enough to touch, Tyler felt his heart racing.
"It's nice to meet you, Tyler," the purple hue murmured out.
Tyler felt himself lean in just a tiny bit, "nice to meet you too, Joshua."
Josh seemed to get the intention and leaned in too, their noses were oh so close to bumping into each other and before their lips could meet, the door busted open and Brendon came hurdling through.
"He-oh, am I ruining something here?" Tyler groaned and chucked a pillow at Brendon.
Brendon gasped and surprisingly caught it, "how many pillows are you going to throw at me?!"
"Depends on how many times you disturb me," Tyler shot back.
Josh raised a brow, "what do you want?"
Brendon huffed and crossed his arms, "I just wanted to say that I'm going to Dallons for awhile."
Tyler was on the verge of shoving Brendon out a window, "that's what you wanted to say? Really? You could've just left a note!"
Josh rolled his eyes, "just go, Bren."
Brendon flipped Tyler off, which Tyler easily did back, waved goodbye to Josh and left.
Tyler rubbed his head in annoyance, "I swear he's going to be the death of me."
Josh snickered, "I can't believe you're still in one piece though."
The brunet just shrugged his shoulders and turned his head back to Josh, "so, back to where we were?"
Josh chuckled but leaned in again and this time, their lips collided. A surge of color bursted all around them and Tyler swore he never gasped so loud in his life. While Tyler took in the scenery, Josh studied the brunet. Taking in the natural tan skin, the slight stubble on his jaw, Josh could even see some of the black markings on Tyler's arms. Josh couldn't help himself but tangle his fingers in the curly brown hair, Tyler was startled at first but leaned into the touch.
"You're beautiful," Tyler scoffed and took Josh's hand off of his head.
"No I'm not, look at you!" From the vibrant violet hair, to the gauges and nose ring, even the full sleeve of colors on his right arm, Tyler has never seen anyone as beautiful as Josh.
Josh chuckled and cupped Tyler's face, pulling him in for a deep kiss which Tyler easily reciprocated. Both of them pulled back panting and with smiles, resting their foreheads together and giggling like school girls.
Josh grabbed Tyler's hand and kissed the back of it, "the trip was worth it."
Tyler laughed and nodded, "definitely."
