markus became happy that all androids and humans were now at peace. he went to the area where he did his final speech and took the time to look at the snow. he noticed north walk up to him. "you were right, markus." she said. "turns out violence didn't have to be the answer." markus turned to look at her. "i was thinking that you wouldn't agree with this, but i'm glad you finally changed your ways." he responded. north looked down for a second. "listen." she said to him. "i have something i want to explain to you." markus became curious. "what is it?" he questioned her. north didn't say anything. she suddenly grabbed markus by the hand to lead him to an empty alleyway that was close to where markus was previously sitting. "north?" markus said. "what's going on?" he became concerned for her. "i've been needing to mention something important with you in private." north said quietly. markus became more curious. but without questioning, north held his hand again and they became pure white with hints of blue. "i love you." she finally admitted. markus didn't know what to say. he was flattered but he didn't feel the same way for her. it happened way too fast for him and he was silent.markus heard footsteps and a faint voice that was cut off but didn't turn to see who it was. north just liiked deeply into markus's eyes with a feeling of lust. markus didn't feel the same way. he quickly let go of north's hand and just remained silent for a second. "north. i... i'm sorry." he said. north looked disappointed. she wasn't neither angry or upset. perhaps she didn't know about this and was just desperate for attention. markus turned away to see what those footsteps were. but the person was gone. all he saw were footsteps and water drops on the ground leading to another direction. he looked up and eventually saw a person he distinctly recognised. one of his closest friends. the one who cared for him the most. the one he felt the most empathy for. "simon?" markus called out
