markus was following the footsteps and drops of water to catch up with his close friend. he was deeply worried for him. he called out his name "simon! siimoon!!" but to no reply. eventually he found josh. his other good friend who he had met as well as simon and north. markus took a short break to talk to him as he didn't have a proper conversation with him for a while. josh could see that markus looked worried about something. "markus, are you ok?" he asked? "you look concerned about something." markus took a bit to calm himself a little. "nothing" he said. "i-it's nothing." they both were quiet for a bit until josh asked "are you trying to find simon?" markus looked up at him. "i saw him run past looking upset about something. do you know what's going on with him?" josh continued. markus did a small shrug. "i think so but i don't know for sure." he explained. "i think he saw me with north before since north confessed to me." josh looked shocked. "you mean as in, telling you she loved you. right?" he asked. markus nodded. "yeah. how did you know?" markus said confusingly. josh looked down "she told me everything. it was her plan." he said quietly. markus was even more confused. he was about to ask how but josh explained before he could say anything. "north kinda knew about something about simon and considering the fact that she hated simon from the start for ra9 knows why and said to me that she knew his weakness and took that chance to harm him for herself. i told her not to but she ignored me. she doesn't actually love you. she knew simon was about to show up and got you before he could." markus looked shocked."so what you're saying is-" markus was cut off by josh "simon loves you markus." josh finished. markus didn't know what to say after that. he had the suspicion but didn't know exactly. now he finally understood and after what they did together, he thought he felt the same was as simon did. markus then really needed to find him again. "thank you for telling me, josh. i need to talk to simon about this now." markus said to him. josh nodded his head and waved at him as he walked off following the footprints.
