Chapter 5 | Simon's heart (FINAL)

markus was still searching and calling for simon. he couldn't think that simon went that far in such a short amount of time, he had to be close. eventually markus came across an old abandoned home. the trail seemed to stop there. he looked around the corner to see if he was there or not. but to his eyes was a great shock to him. he found simon... dead on the snow.  his thirium pump completely ripped out from his chest. he predicted someone did that to him but it was still snowy and no footprints were around for him to see. he noticed that there weren't any fingerprints around the thirium pump too. could he have done it himself? this was not what he wanted him to do to himself. he wanted him to come back. but he noticed something about the pump. it was still compatible he could still have a chance to save him. so he did what anyone else would. he placed it back into his chest. he hoped that it would work. he just wanted to see him happy again. but then he noticed... simon's eyes started to open up! markus became relieved.simon started to feel himself wake up. as his eyes opened up he saw a silhouette of someone he felt he could recognize. it was markus. he was both happy and scared to see him at the same time. he suddenly remembered what happened before when he saw him with north. he then started to tear up after what he was thinking again. he then just said out loud "i'm sorry! i'm so so sorry! i really am!" markus was confused. he didn't know what he was apologizing for. he put his hand over his mouth for a second to calm him down a little. "there is no need for you to apologise simon." he said calmingly. "now just settle down a little and tell me what's wrong." he moved his hand away so that he could let him speak. simon just took a deep breath and wiped away. "it's just, i have had these really strong feelings for you and i just, don't know how to describe it. your bravery, your kindness, your loyalty, i just don't want you to leave my side and just stay with me for as long as i can." simon stuttered a lot as he was finishing his sentence but he managed to say "i-i know that you are probably with north but, i love you." he finally said it. simon's face became fully blue. it felt good finally saying that whole thing to him. markus looked at him and smirked. "i love you too." he said as he leaned to simon and kissed. simon was in shock. he never knew that he felt the same way for him. he kissed him back in return.simon was really happy as well as markus. simon eventually found out that north was faking her love for markus and they both became a loving couple later on.
