Chapter Five: A Nightmare

As I slept I had a nightmare. A terrible one.

I was in The Nevermore lounge and was waiting on tables when I had to go back to get an order from the kitchen. I grabbed the tray of plates and started walking back to the lounge.

As I was in the hallway I heard gunfire and screaming coming from the lounge and ran towards it. I was struck with horror and fear when I walked in and saw Chanyeol in a white, now bloodstained suit slitting a woman's throat while his men walked around the piles of dead bodies seeing if there were any survivors.

Customers I was serving and some I recognized from before, my friends, and the boys from SVTPD. I don't know why they were there, but I didn't want to know, all I saw was them dead.

Everyone of them, dead. Chanyeol turned around as he dropped the woman's fresh corpse. He knew I couldn't really walk all that well since I just endured a couple of hours of torture and smiled.

The red hair of his matched the red on his once white suit and smiling face. He let out his sickening laugh and said “There you are Angel.”

I turned to run but as soon as I turned around there he was, smiling and laughing.

“You can't escape me my dear. I will always find you.” he said as he reached up to pistol whip me.

I shot up from the hospital bed quickly in a cold sweat with tears in my eyes.

I looked around the room to find Josh gone and Hoshi already by my side, his hand reaching up to touch my hand like always but this time he touched his forehead with mine.

“Shh… It's okay, I’m here.” he shushed me until my breathing slowed some more and I stopped crying.

“Hoshi, he was there, at The Nevermore. He killed everyone, even you.” I choked out. His look automatically turned even more saddened than it was before.

“He won't find you. I promise. I'll protect you.” he said moving his forehead back on mine.

“I know.” I said. I looked at the clock to see what time it was but before I could a nurse ran in the room and Hoshi pulled away only to grab my still shaking hand.

“I’m sorry but we saw your heart rate go rapid and they sent me in here quickly.” she said before moving over to me and checking my pulse.

“It was just a nightmare.” I said in a quiet raspy voice.

“I know hun but I still gotta check.” she said before moving over to the computer and typing something in. Just as she was about to leave Dr. Seokjin came in with Joshua.

“Oh, she's awake.” he said with a smile.

“Good news, you can now leave whenever you like. Mr. Hong here already signed your discharge papers and picked up your scripts. You are very lucky to have a boyfriend like him.” he added.

Joshua and I both blushed and said “We’re not together” insync.

“My apologies.” Dr. Seokjin said before exiting the room.

“Okay, can we please leave now? I want to get to bed so I can make it to work on time later.” I said standing up and detaching all the machines from my body.

“You can't go to work today.” Hoshi said helping me stand up.

“Why can't I?” I asked looking at him.

“You were kidnapped and tortured not even 10 hours ago and you wanna go to work?” Joshua asked in shock.

“I don't wanna let this get to me. It doesn't stop me from getting the job done so why should I miss work?” I asked him.
