Paramedic: *wheeling Jake on the stretcher* We need to get this kid into surgery. Fast.

Doctor: Put him in surgery room 8. I'll be there in 5 minutes.

Logan: And brother.

Doctor: Ah. Well family member please sign. *hands clipboard to Logan*

Logan: Thanks.

Doctor: I'll try my best but there isn't going to be any promises. Bullet wounds can be difficult to fix sometimes.

Erika: Thank you.

Doctor: I'll see you kids soon.

Erika: Oh. Yeah sweetie?

Kylee: Daddy going to be ok. Right?

Erika: We don't know yet munchkin.

Kylee: Me fault.

Logan: Ky no. *picks up Kylee* This isn't your fault at all. He knew what he was doing and he was trying to protect you.

Kylee: Me should've listen.

Erika: We all make mistakes Ky. It's called being human. Daddy will always protect you and never be mad at you. No matter what.

Kylee: Ok.

Kylee: Okay!! *grabs paper and crayons*

Erika: *sighs*

Logan: You Ok?

Erika: Could be better.

Logan: *nods* So...Chance told me about your little conversation with Jake.

Erika: Of course he said something.

Logan: *laughs a bit* So is it true?

Erika: What's true?

Logan: Don't be playing dumb Rik.

Erika: Come on Logan. He was my first love. And the father of my daughter. What else am I supposed to do.

Logan: So it that a yes.

Erika: I don't know. Feelings just don't go away. Even if they are so small. You know?

Logan: Yeah...I feel you.

Erika: *looks at Kylee and sighs* She reminds me too much of Jake.

Logan: She does.

Erika: I'll be back in a sec. I just need some fresh air.

Logan: Okay.

Erika: *walks outside*

Chance: She Okay?

Logan: I'm not sure. Tess?

Tessa: On it. *walks outside*

Erika's POV
I knew I couldn't cry in there. Kylee would be worried and I need to set a good example. I walk outside and sit down on a bench. I instantly start balling. I never thought that this could actually happen again.
