(I wanted to give you guys a little insight on Melo and Zen relationship )
MELO It was Sunday morning. My last hours in Cali for awhile. I never understood why Gelo fuck up in China was effecting me. This was a dumb move making me play overseas is limiting my chances and as much as my dad think he's helping Gelo, he's really throwing his career away. He's never gonna get drafted this way. This basketball shit wasn't even my main concern, I was gonna miss my Girlfriend, I wanted to do right by her and I'm going too but I would be lying if I said Chris ain't have me worried. It would only be a matter of time before she realized I blocked his number and all his social media on her phone
I sighed and fully opened my eyes. I turned to my side expecting to still see a naked Zendaya. Instead I found a note and the ring placed nicely on the pillow. I sat up grabbing the note and took a deep breath before reading it aloud
"Lamelo I know you gonna hate me after this, I know there was better ways for me to do this but I think it's best if we just move on from each other. I love you so much and I probably always will but I can't help thinking that this ring was a way to keep me from living my life while your overseas. I feel like if those pictures with me and chris didn't get out then you wouldn't have given me this ring. You're scared that there's something between me and him but there isn't . This ring feels like a bribe and I can't be bribed Melo. I thought I could deal with you being so far away but I can't. I know you're probably tearing up right now and I'm sorry if this is hurting you but we both know this long distance thing isn't for us. We're too attached to be separated like that. You know I'm right and if we're being completely honest I know you gonna do whatever you want over there even if it jeopardizes us. I wish you nothing but luck in your new adventure I'm glad I got to spend some time with you before you left. These last few weeks were amazing they reminded me of when we first got together. Attached to the letter was a drawing. I blinked back my tears and laughed because no matter how dope of an artist she was, she always drew my head lopsided.

I study the picture and wondered why she chose to draw the old me with the big hair and braces and then it hit me, this was the first time she saw me
FLASHBACK I rolled my eyes in annoyance. I just wanted to practice and these cheerleaders were being thirsty "Come on Stacey move cause if coach catches you over here ima be the one running laps go teach ya team a new routine" she huffed and stomped away

"Cause all these girls at Chino Hills ain't shit. Half if them think of they get to me they'll get to lonzo"

"These Bitches is Wack in this school. Ion plan on giving no bitch in Chino Hills the time of day" I shot the ball then turned my head in the direction of the girls varsity coach voice. "What number would you like for your uniform?"
