Chapter 29: Baby Boy

Time jump (2 months)

Zendaya was now a full blown 39 weeks and her water could break any time in the next couple of days. 40 weeks meant her due date was June 3rd but she just knew her baby was coming before that. All Zendaya wanted to do was make sure she had her baby before June 10th. Graduation day.

Zendaya was determined to walk across the stage. She has been through too much to miss this important moment in her life. The last couple months of school was rough for her but she got through it with the help of Lucas and Rebel. If it wasn't for them she probably would've given up by now.

Zendaya hated that Aaron team didn't make the playoffs but at the same time that meant that he would be there for her during the end of her pregnancy. Lord knows zendaya would've had a mental breakdown without him around.

At this very moment almost everything had been going good with Zendaya. ALMOST. Zendaya hadn't heard from Chris since he last walked away from her. Zendaya respected his wishes and only called him about their child but he never picked up his phone or answered her messages. He would post on social media 24/7 but he wouldn't answer her.

Laying down on the couch with her head in Lucas lap and her feet in Rebel lap Zendaya sighed closing her eyes "still nothing??" Aaron said coming into the den

Zendaya glanced at him and quickly wiped the tear trying to fall down her face. "Nope, he hates me and I get that Aaron, I do.... but he asked me to communicate with him about his child and he's ignoring me"

"My child isn't gonna have his father in his life and that's clear now"

"Maybe he just doesn't wanna hear from you at all but I think if you send him a message telling him your going into labor, I honestly think he'll be here" Lucas ran his hands through her hair

"He might be right Zen, I mean you said he's leaving you on read right?? So if you send him a message that you are in labor and he reads it he better show up cause if not that's a low ass move" Rebel said

"I think I broke his heart. So I wouldn't be surprised if he's a no show"

"I just don't see him doing that" Luke said "he'll be here"

"Whatever happened with you and him as nothing to do with the baby" Aaron said

"I don't know if you just being overly sensitive but you never cry this much" Luke took his hand wiping her eyes "let's change the subject, did you think for a name yet??"

"Well he damn sure ain't gonna be a junior" she said as she lifted herself off luke and Rebel " I want his name to start with a Z like mine and moms" she looked at Aaron

"I think that's a good idea" he smiled "what about the middle and last??" Rebel asked

"I feel like he should have some part of his father name or just some connection to him even if things don't go right so no matter what it's gonna be _____ Maurice Brown"

"I respect that" Aaron kissed her forehead
