Chapter 10: Conversations

Melo slowly walked over to where Aaron was leaning against the car. LaMelo was nervous and seeing the stare of death that Zendaya gave him before going back in the school made him nervous about this talk Aaron wanted to have

Melo thought it would be better to lay everything out on the table so he opened his mouth to talk only to be cut off by Aaron

"I don't know what she sees in you. I told her from jump that you would break her heart but she swore she knew you better than anyone. I saw the mask you hid behind from the moment y'all started dating. You were in it for the look, two top basketball stars at Chino Hills fall in love. You continuously put y'all relationship on your family show, after her telling you over and over she didn't want that. You let the world into y'all relationship making it easier to be broken."

Melo could feel himself getting angry and he didn't know where the courage and voice to respond to Aaron accusations was coming from

"That's bullshit. There was never any hidden intentions! There was no mask, we were friends before any of this. I will accept that she didn't want to be on the show but she said she would tolerate it for me because there was always cameras around. I never meant to break her heart. I didn't care about the look of our relationship. I love your sister! I'm in love with her but I'm young, dumb and I've made some mistakes that she'll probably never forgive me for and that my fault but I'm not gonna let you stand here and tell me that I don't care about her"

Melo hated that he was breaking down in front of Aaron but he was truly in love and just had a bad way of showing it. On the other hand Aaron now felt bad watching Melo throw his pride aside and break down but he still didn't approve of their relationship but he was gonna stay out of it at this point

"Look you know how I feel about you and my sister. I think she deserves better than you and I think you deserve to figure out what it means to actually love a girl before you date ANYONE. I'm done verbally getting involved in you guys relationship neither one of you listen. Hurt her anymore than you already have and I'm not coming to you. Ima step to Zo cause it's illegal to put my hands on you. Don't let it get to that point, I would hate to have to fight my friend. I hope you guys realize that this relationship ain't it and call it quits before it becomes Toxic. You and Her are not meant to be together"

Melo opened his mouth to talk but Aaron stopped him. "Do what you gotta do Melo. If you honestly think she's your future fix it but if not then leave her alone cause in the end it's gonna be both of y'all that end up broken"

"I really do love her"

"I can see that. I won't deny that I see the love you have for her but that doesn't mean you guys are meant to be together"

Aaron got in the car driving off. He was suppose to scare Melo. Instead he found himself feeling bad for the kid. Aaron knew what it was like to be in love with someone and just not be able to get it right when it came down to them and it took awhile before he realized it was just better to let her go. Maybe Melo would realize before it was too late and she ended up hating him

"Mhm yea, that's a dope song" Chris said while staring at his phone

"Nigga you wasn't even listening. You been spaced out this whole time" Tyga said before coming out the booth "what's up with you?"

"Why she ain't call yet??"

"Who???"

Chris smacked his teeth "Zendaya"

"I'm confused. Did you or did you not block her number and all her social media accounts?" Tyga raised a brow waiting fo an answer
