Pulling the blanket up under my chin Chris brushed his thumb across my cheek. " you wanna go inside?? You're shivering" he pulled me closer to him. We were outside on the deck laying on a couch looking at the sky and just catching up on things we missed in each other life.
" no the sun is about to come up" I messed with his chin hair "we can go inside after"
Staring at each other I could tell we were both lost in thought. Bringing my face into Chris chest I sighed "Hey what's wrong?" He lifted my face up

Blowing out a deep breath I held his hand and looked at him " I'm sorry that I felt the need to make you hurt as much as you hurt me. It was childish and tho I had every right to be mad you still didn't deserve to be treated the way I treated you. I should've never strung you along when I was unsure of what I wanted"
"I let you string me along knowing what your situation was because that's how much I wanted to be with you. That's how hard I was willing to work to get you. I deserved everything you threw at me, I was a dick and I was dumb I should've never been out of Zander life for that long so I apologize" he kissed my forehead

Brushing the snow out my hair he pulled me closer as the sun beamed down on my our faces "Hi Chris" I smiled

"I love your freckles" I said through a yawn and buried my face in his chest

"I love you too" I felt my body bring lifted up so I gripped the blanket, wrapped my legs around Chris waist and heard Chris open the sliding door. Walking us upstairs he laid me down
"You want something hot to drink??"
"Hot chocolate please" I mumbled as I snuggled up to the covers
CHRIS Warming the milk in the kitchen, I grabbed one of the gifts I had hidden around the cabin for Zen and scrolled Instagram to waste time. Noticing how caught up I was with her today that I didn't give her a birthday shoutout I decided to do one now even tho her birthday was yesterday
