I walked out of the main door to look to see anything, I saw smoke, lots of it in the distance. I had a pretty big guess what it might be. And if it was what I thought i'm not sure how well the rest of this little project is going to go.
It didn't take much walking time to find it, but sure enough there it was, LightSpeed, but something was off, the ship somehow didn't look all that familiar, it looked different, maybe it was my tie away or something either way I had no idea what I was thinking. I walked up to the charred hull, I was confused it didn't look like anything had burned out or started externally I then began to see if there was still an access hatch open.
I walked around the structure, found an access point kicked it and it flew down. I stepped into the structure, I looked around, it was dark, really dark. I saw crates sitting in the old hall ways. The lights would flicker on and off, it made me kind of uncomfortable. I wasn't sure if it was merely paranoia or something actually shuffling above me.
I looked up to an overhead ventilation shaft. I could've sworn I saw a pair of eyes looking right back down. I could tell. I didn't feel comfortable being here. But I needed to figure out what was going on. I kept walking down the halls, I couldn't help but feel I was being watched. I walked around some more I found a door a long way down. I grabbed the cracked edge pulled and it roughly slid open.
There were boxes formatted like they were meant to be protecting something. I looked over there was blood everywhere. I saw a small grey object on the ground, I picked it up, it was a loaded 44. Pistol. I suddenly felt much more worried than I already was. I put it in the bag. I walked around through the corridors, I found a sign, I rubbed my hand across, it read command center. I followed it and walked through the corridor. I turned a corner, I saw a figure in the foggy command center, it was tall 6,5 bald, its skin was unnaturally pale, it was wearing a black and blue uniform, with red cuffs.
I wanted to say something but my throat was dry. It turned to face me, it spoke in a corrupted voice, like it was trying to say something but the words wouldn't come.
"Hello...?" I said slightly confused.
"Ha-hn-shjoh... EEEERRRRRREEEEE" The figure shrieked.
sound loud it wrong through the corridors, I suddenly panicked it started running towards me as fast as it could, but i was frozen. I somehow felt that if I didn't move it wouldn't see me. However its leg completely gave out it tripped and fell to the ground and didnt get up. I wasn't sure I wanted to move. I slowly walked towards it. My footsteps echoed throughout the entire command center I walked up, the leg was bleeding out a bluish fluid.
It congregated a large puddle around the knee cap. I went to reach for the figure when I heard a large crash across the room. I looked around but just as I had lost my attention in the figure I felt a cold hang grip my leg. I looked down two red eyes glared up at me. The figure gripped my leg, I grabbed the .44 and pulled the trigger the bullet glided through the forehead and out the other side the eyes went dark and it fell to the floor.
I looked through the head, whatever this thing was, it was made to look like a human but it sure wasn't a human, I felt the head, it was a sort of synthetic skin. This was one of our older military grade androids from the original Lightspeed system. I was confused, these were shut down due to constant corruption or malfunction. I walked over to the primary computer.
The ServiceLink logo shined in the darkness. It opened to the primary systems. I looked through the browser. I looked at the logs. Lightspeed ⅓ Log System.
"⅓? We were not the only ones?" I mumbled aloud. I looked through the logs some more.
