A New Option

I'm Izuku Midorya a powerless child  in a world of people with super powers  some of them may be useless but it was better then what I have.It was a normal day for me get up brush his teeth get dressed and walk out to my mom.

"Morning Izuku" mom said with her normal beaming smile "your breakfast is on the table," she said pointing to plat with two slices of toast.

"Thanks Mom" to me my mom she was the only person who really accepted me without a quirk but  I couldn't help but think that she would leave me to if she wasn't his mother.I ate my breakfast picked up my bag and slipped on my favorite red boots I open the door and shout  "bye mom."I heard a small response but through all of this I had something else on my mind it is exactly one year till the UA entrance exams I have  to figure out a way to achieve my dreams.

(Time Skip End of the Day)

I walk into my house making sure to close the door behind me "mom I'm home"I slip off my shoes I hear my mom call"Izuku I've got a surprise for you ."I walk into the living room I'm meet with my mom sitting at the table sitting across from her I can see a skinny almost like a skeleton with blond hair the front hanging down."Wait d-d-dad is that you" I can't remember much but he was there  when I found out I had no quirk he got out of his chair 

"Son it's good to see you ."We sit down trying to catch up  as much as we can turns out he will be staying for quiet a while we sit having a good time till my mom turns the TV on and we hear "THIS IS BREAKING NEWS a villain has  attacked downtown",we can see a man who seems to be creating steam the news report continues "the villain seems to be heating up steam to be able to burn peoples skin ".

"Wait that's only a few minutes away from here" as I finish my sentence I see my dad  run out of the room I don't hesitate to follow as I exit my house I here "Izuku don't ," I run after dad as fast as I can following his exact route I come to an alleyway seeing a silhouette of dad but then wait is he bulking up wait that shape it can't be.With that dads gone I run to go see and I'm meet with All Might facing the villain that can't be him can it I'm interrupted by one of the steam villains blasts going to a spectating little girl.My legs move on there own as I jump in-front of the blast before hearing the blast hit something but it wasn't me I look up to see All Might protecting me "Thank you young man I should have finished this sooner" he turns around to face the villain "DETROIT SMASH" the villain is now knocked onto the floor.

Almost instantly All Might picked me up and jumped off we landed just outside my apartment but I notice that he is steaming is this a side affect of the villains quirk  then in a blast of smoke I see DAD."Wait dad no there's no way your really All Might"

"now my bo-" he began to cough up blood "sorry my boy but it would be best if I start at the beginning I am as you have seen All Might my quirks name is One For All unlike most quirks I can transfer mine it stockpiles power and gets stronger with each user and by seeing your actions today I want you my son to be my successor".I was running everything through my head "...One For...transfer wait that changes quirks as we- wait but that means".My eyes start to tear up I run inside and into my room without a word I could hear my mom shouting but I ran straight past her a few minutes later I hear a knock at the door.

There is an awkward pause "M-my boy I..,"

"WHY"I shout at the top of my lungs there's another pause "why didn't you trust me with this secret and more importantly if you knew you quirk could be transferred then why didn't you at least tell me when I found out I didn't have one",there was another pause.

I could hear a deep breath come from outside "obviously giving my quirk to you was a option to but surely you someone who is as heroic as you can see how many people I wouldn't have saved how many would have died how many people would have to live in fear."A new voice came to the door this one belonged to my mom "It was my fault two your farther's quirk has an amazing amount of backlash at that age it could have killed you I d-d-di-din't want to see you like that."I can hear my mom crying through the door I get up and unlock the door and I open it to face them  "I'm so sorry both of you I promise that I'll become the best hero I can be and save people with a smile "

I see mom and dad's faces light up " so my boy I hope means you want to become my successor".

I stare back into his eyes "of course dad".
