kayla sat on her bed, staring at her phone. ashton had replied to her 10 minutes ago, and she was still staring at it, unsure of what to say.

"im sorry about earlier... are you mad at me? xx"

she locked her phone and laid it beside her. was she mad at him? she was upset, but then again she was never one to be sexual. she's never even kissed a guy, let alone had sex. she had no clue what he would expect from her at this point, and it was unsettling. she finally replied to him.

"im not mad, just uncomfortable is all xx"

kayla grabbed her phone and walked down to the kitchen to get a snack. she looked around for her mother, who, as usual, wasn't home. kayla opened a cabinet to look for some peanut butter when ashton replied.

"im really sorry baby girl, im not sure what got into me. im not always like that i swear. you're just so... irresistible. you do things to me. xx"

her heart fluttered at baby girl. she supposed that she could forgive him, that is how most guys are. that's what she gathered from one direction fanfics, that is.

"it's okay. but you're insane to think that, there's nothing special about me.. xx"

kayla sent the message, then continued to find crackers to put the peanut butter on. once she found them, she retreated back to the comforting confines of her bedroom. she started spreading the delicious butter onto a cracker when her phone vibrated. she cautiously unlocked her phone, part of her scared of what he might say.

"can i videochat you? xx"

kayla's heart starting beating a mile a minute. she bit her lip, considering the idea. she would love to hear his voice, especially his accent. but was she quite ready for that? she noticed the bottom button was blue, which meant he was waiting for her response.

"umm.. yeah sure ok. just give me a sec xx"

she sent it, rushing to the bathroom to make sure her appearance was okay. she went back to her bed and sat down, reading his response.

"whenever you're ready baby xx"

kayla took a deep breath and held in the button, waiting for it to go through. instantly his face appeared on her screen, a wide grin on his face.

"kayla baby! how are you?"
