ashton stayed up late talking to kayla, until she made him get some sleep. he ended up going to bed around 4am, and woke up at 10am to work with the band on some music.

he wasn't quite sure on what would come out of this, but he did know he was enjoying it. she was honestly quite beautiful, her eyes a stunning shade of blue that he could get lost in. he wished that he could be with her, and hold her and kiss her. he knew it was strange to have these thoughts after only knowing her for mere hours, but it felt right to him.

he yearned to learn every detail about her he could, from her oldest memory, which was quite humorous and from disney world, to her favorite children's movie, which was frozen. he wanted to learn what got under her skin the most, or her playlists for her ever-changing moods.

he knew it was quite odd to be this infatuated with a girl he might never meet, but he couldn't help it. she was irresistible, a guilty pleasure. he didn't want to share her with anybody either, but his friends could tell.

"gee, ash, you get laid last night or something?" calum chuckled from across the room.

"or something..." ashton mumbled, the grin stuck on his face.

"ooh, was she hot?" michael's interest was sparked.

"c'mon guys, leave him alone. let's just work on the music." luke grumbled.

"your date didn't go good last night?" calum asked, making ashton glad the attention was no longer on him.

his attention unfocused from them when he felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. he immediately pulled it out, a smile shooting onto his face when it was from kayla. he clicked the snap, it being a picture of her sticking her tongue out. ash laughed, taking a similar one.

"im punkrock i do what i want:P"

he laughed, sending it to her. he looked up to see he was surrounded by his bandmates.

"ooh ash has got a crush! what's her name?" luke grinned, back to his usual self. ashton then spilled everything, the smile never leaving his face.
