His Secrets c.h.

chapter 5

The sun that was coming through my curtains had woke me up a few minutes ago. i was now already stressing out about my date today with calum.

He was gonna be here at 6 pm and it was only 12 pm and i needed to eat. After that i could probably watch netflix or something.

i walked down my stairs and decided that some cereal would be fine so i grabbed the honey nut cheerios and poured a bowl. i grabbed my bowl and sat down at the table in my kitchen to eat. while i ate i scrolled through my phone and looked at all my notifications that came through when i was asleep.

As soon as i finished i walked up to my room grabbed my computer and started watching 'the office' on netflix. I also took a short nap.

It was now 4 pm and i had two hours till calum got here so i went and made my way to the shower. once i got in i did my shower routine and got out. i dried and straightened my hair. i didn't put any makeup on because in all reality i don't know how to make it look good. i head to the closet and grabbed a soft white t shirt my ripped jeans. i slipped on my all white vans and left my room.

i made my way down the stairs and i heard someone start to knock. i opened the door to reveal calum. he smiled at me "hey. you look good." he complimented. "thanks." i blushed. "uh do you want to get going?" he said while opening the door.

we pulled up to the cute little diner that calum picked out. he ran over opening my door before i could. "thank you." i smiled at him. he gave me a cheeky grin.

As soon as we got seated a waitress came to take our order "can i start you off with something to drink?" she said with a blank face. "uhh i'll have a water" i spoke. "i'll have the same" calum said looking at me. she scribbled it down and walked away. "ya know what thompson?" calum questioned while grinning and turning his head to the side "what hood?" i mimicked. "you never gave me your number" he said with an amused expression. "well you never asked" i shot back. "well what's your number then?" he asked "hand me your phone" i said. he handed me his phone and i typed my number in.

shortly after that our waitress came with our drinks and we began to order our food. "i'll have the chicken tenders" i smiled handing her my menu. "i have the cheeseburger." calum said also handing her his menu. after she walked away calum went to speak but before he could speak some random girl slid into my side of the booth.

"i'm really sorry to intrude but i really want to prank those guys over there." she said as she pointed to two guys one with rose gold hair and a extremely tall blonde guy with curls. "i'm chanel by the way. sorry we had to meet this way. oh shit i think they seen me" she was laughing. "chanel we can hear you and see you. what are you even doing?" the pink haired guy questioned "who are these people?" she looked at me "i'm skylar and that's calum." i said pointing at both of us. "they are my new friends." she said swinging her arm around me and stealing one of my chicken tenders. "oh well i'm michael and this is luke." he said pointing at him and the blonde guy. "well nice to meet you i guess" i smiled.

the rest of the night we hung out with the two guys,luke and michael, and chanel. they had two more members of their group but they were out on a date. chanel also decided that we were all gonna go hang out so we could meet the other two.

when me and calum left he automatically started laughing. i furrowed my eyebrows and smiled question why he was laughing. "oh don't give me that look. i just don't know what the hell just happened. " he laughed as he started the drive back to my house. when he pulled up he walked me to my door. "i had a nice time hood" i said smiling. "thanks for coming thompson"he said. i smiled and he started to lean in and i was doing the same. i could start to feel his breath but before our lips touched my porch light came on making us jump. "well um on that note i guess i'll just tell you goodnight." he said awkwardly scratching the back of his neck. "yeah um goodnight i'll see you monday" i smiled. he drove off and i walked up to my room.

after i got laid down i was checking my instagram and all my other social media's when i text popped up on my phone.
from unknown: you know what thompson?
from unknown: btw it's calum :)
i laughed
to calum: what hood ?
from calum: i should've went ahead and kissed you.
